I have been a client of this specific Walgreens in Santa Isabel since 2013, probably visiting the store at least five times a week. This is one of the few stores that actually has a service-oriented and happy crew. I can conclude this because managers come and go, and the staff remains, essentially providing the same level of service. Recently, I have noticed that staff are behaving as if they are restricted and have witnessed and observed an interaction between the new manager and an employee during which the manager was speaking, referring to the assignment of 8 full-hour tours depending on their attitudes and whether they wanted to work or not. I was standing 10 feet away, and I could clearly appreciate that this was a form of harassment for nearby employees listening to the rhetoric. I am not questioning that management needs to manage, but to display such animosity and low-level managerial sensitivity in front of the customers is a mistake and a clear signal of management issues. Please investigate and mitigate this problem.
