This is one of my fave Walgreens, they have a excellent greeting card section. Anyhoo, I just recently stopped in here to get some more made in JAPAN "Salonpas pain relieving patches" for my back & more of the "salonpas liquid pain reliving cream" for moi booty pain. Like I said in my other Walgreens review, the Salonpas patches work well for your back but they roll off your booty so you really need the "Salonpas pain relieving cream" for your booty. Hope this helps anyone suffering from Tailbone booty pain. Tailbone booty pain is not fun at all, especially when you travel. Highly recommend the made in JAPAN "Salonpas pain relieving patches" they work really well if you can keep them stuck to your booty. The Salonpas liquid cream is not as good but It's a cooling sensation pain relieve not a HOT one like Tiger balm. Moi prefers a soothing cooling booty sensation. I'm not into my ass on fire. Nope. My husband and I were on vacation from out of state. I noticed while unpacking I left one of my non narcotic meds at home. I desperately needed this med as I am prescribed to take twice a day. We were not leaving to return home for 5 days. I explained to the pharmacy what my issue was. I want to give a huge 'KUDDO' to the pharmacy located on S Blue Angel Parkway in Pensacola Fl. The pharmacist went out of her way to get in touch with my Pharmacy in Louisiana and making it possible for me to get just enough of the meds till I return home. It's sad they can't use common sense especially with people who have lived life for a long time older medication that I have taken for years I don't need a damn console for how damn stupid I know what and how to take my medicine and if I needed help I would ask or be in a home for mental I'll or just to old to get by. One star required to write review. This location sucks to high heaven. No communication whatsoever regarding prescriptions. Made four trips to pick up up a prescription, given different excuse on first three tries, then on fourth was told that first three were all lies and that the med wasn't even in stock because some imbecile didn't restock it when they ran out a month earlier and I'd have to wait four days to get prescription filled. About a week and a half ago went in to buy needles for medicine injection. Explained exactly the type of needle that was required, and was assured that what they sold me would work. When I opened the package I could plainly see that the needed had a fixed tip and the draw up needle for the medication could not be installed to get the medicine into the syringe. Took the unopened needles back to get a refund on them and was told they would not give me my money back or credit toward the correct needles needed, but was told I could pay for and buy the correct needles. Being a business owner just can't understand their position here. Seeing the other reviews posted, I realise that this branch just does bad business. I don't think that it is indicative of all Walgreens but just indicative of how this store conducts business. I would find another store to work with as this one does not seem to be very accommodating to its customers based on the reviews that I see here. read more

I've rarely shopped at Walgreens until coming to this location. Every single person in this store are SO nice, friendly, and awesome. Even when they are busy, they still have amazing customer service. I have a pharmacy closer to my house but changed to this one because it's such an enjoyable experience. read more

Short Version - didn't fax doctor to refill my prescription and didn't call me to let me know I needed to contact doctor for refill. I call in my order at 6:30 a.m. to refill my prescription and when I go to pick it up at 5:30 p.m., the lady at the window didn't know how to use the computer to look up my name and wanted my old pill bottle to look it up. Then, they don't have my prescription at all because it's out of refills and needs doctor authorization, which is too late in the day now to do so. 1st of all, they should have faxed it in earlier because they had all day to do that. 2nd of all, if they weren't going to fax, they should have called me to let me know I had no refills and needed to contact my doctor. 3rd of all, if you make a mistake, own up to it and apologize! Next they say they would give me an emergency supply, but they worded it as, "It's on us. You don't have to pay for it." Which is dumb because no it's not free, it just means they take away 3 from your refill when you have to drive back for a 2nd time for the same medication and pick up the rest of 27 pills for the month! After waiting in line for 10 minutes with 1 car in front of me, they told me I had to go inside to get the medication emergency supply. Best Walgreens in Pensacola 9th and Cervantes Other Walgreens Pharmacies to avoid that don't have it together: - 24 hour one on Langley - Palafox/Hwy 29 near Sam's Fun City (Makes me wonder... Do they purposely not do a good job, so less costumers come back to their location, meaning they have less work to do, but can still collect the same paycheck amount?) read more

Terrible, terrible, terrible! Slowest service and worst attitude we've ever dealt with at a Walgreens pharmacy! If you drop off your prescription 3 hours earlier, you sort of expect it to be ready and not get attitude when you ask why it isn't! An apology is what should be given. read more
