When I arrived at Scotland Pharmacy the staff there was very welcoming. Especially as a new subscriber. They verified all the needed information and I was on my way quickly. Scotland Pharmacy is a part of the Scotland Health Care System. They're conveniently located at 700 Progress Place connected inside of Harris Family Practice. Hours of operation is Monday through Friday 7:30am to 7:00pm.

They also offer hot foods and groceries but I prefer buying groceries somewhere else. I went to pick up supplies for mommy. I went to the soap section and to my surprise the soap is locked up. So have patience if needing these items. I waited over 20 minutes because only 1 person had the key and she was on lunch break. I waited because the soap I was purchasing was crazily inexpensive. Once the soap is taken from the case, it is taken to the register where you can check out. You don't touch the item until after paying. Wow ! Side note: it's getting cold in Carolina, there's good deals on long sleeve thermal shirts $7 and bottoms $10. Maybe I'll see you there on my next supply run.

Well I called his doctor and they gave me a same day appointment thank god but the appointment was at 1:20 pm and I have to be at work at 3 pm so I was clearly pressed for time so after the appointment which only took about 30 minutes I had the prescription sent to Walmart pharmacy where I was greeted with some turd named vendela who Asked me upon returning to pick up my prescription did I have Medicaid or any kind of insurance I said yes my son has Medicaid and I have insurance. Well she was a total butt hole she said well his insurance isn't on file and I said she well that's fine I'll just pay cash and with a smirk on her face she said well one of the medicines is 164.00 like it was funny that my son who I had with me was feeling bad and couldn't breath on top of that he had an ear infection. I wanted to curse her out because my sons pain wasn't funny to me at all, But obviously I couldn't. Well the medicine still wasn't ready she said it would be longer. By this point it's already 210 and I had to be to work by 3. So i went to work left at 5 pm because they closed at 6. Went in Walmart with 200.00 to pay cash for my medicine only To he asked about insurance again and told by another clerk that they could look up the Medicaid and give me the medicine for that price. She looked down on me like I was trash for having Medicaid on my son but in reality I make almost 22.00 an hour. But I'm a single parent and Medicaid is free to children until 18. She had a condescending smirk on her face and they DEFINITELY NEED TO FIRE HER. OR THEY WILL CONTINUE TO LOSE CUSTOMERS. EVERYONE ELSE WAS NICE AND HELPFUL BUT VENDELA NEEDS TO GO HOME ASAP. SHE IS RUDE AND NASTY AND SNOOTY. AND BECAUSE OF HER THEY GET 1 star I wish I could give 0.

The down home atmosphere versus the larger competitors in our opinion makes it second to none getting in and out.
