I have just had the most horrendous experience with this business. My mother uses a hospital bed…read more The one she has is 10 years old and completely broken down. The electric control no longer works the rails won't go up and the mattress has many cracks. It is time for a new one. I have dealt with this business for her oxygen services with great response. They have been quite timely and to this point I would rate their services high. But getting the bed has been a nightmare. At my first call the person I had to deal with was argumentative. Questioning the need and which of the insurances would pay. She kept interrupting and talking over me. The order was for a twin size bed apparently hospital beds are not actually twin size. So they were searching for a twin. Plain twin. No controls no movement of the head or foot. Had to get another order to resolve that issue. Then they were telling me that Medicare wouldn't pay for an electric bed and she would have to get a crank bed. My 92 year old mother can transfer from her bed to the wheelchair and that's it. Supplying a crank bed was ludicrous. More phone calls and she needed to see her Doctor. The visit 2 months prior was not recent enough. Though she has had these physical limitations for 10 years eight weeks was too short a time to accurately diagnose her very chronic condition. When I spoke on the phone the clerk interrupted me. Spoke over me.. Argued with me and was just an absolute nightmare to deal with. She spoke to me as if I had limited mental capacity. If I could rate zero stars I would. I try to treat people kindly with respect but I can't say how horrible this experience has been.

I had an issue with one of the girls in customer service. First, no one was at the counter when I…read moregot there. I had to go looking for her. She then gets behind the counter and never said hello or anything. Just looked at me and waited for me to speak. I told her I was returning something. She looked at the box and immediately says I can't return this because we don't sell it here. I explained that I bought it online and the return policy states to return it to ANY Walmart store. So she rudely just leaves and goes to get the manager. The manager was just as rude but I wasn't leaving without my refund. If you don't want merchandise returned to specific stores that should be stated in the return policy. So she returns it and I tell her I'd like to make a complaint and she listens to what just happened. I'm even telling her how the girl is staring me down WHILE IM TALKING TO THE MANAGER. The manager states that she's new and she was trained that way. I said so Walmart trains you to be rude and disrespectful. She said if I have a problem with their training take it up with corporate and she walks away. This store is run mostly by Hispanic people and I can tell you they are some of the most racist people I've ever encountered. They don't speak to everybody, they don't greet everybody. They never offer help. Some either don't speak English or they like to pretend that they don't when you ask for help. I've called corporate only to be told they will make them take a diversity class. What a joke. I'll be taking my business to Target.
