The pharmacy service is really good, this is a good spot if you need to buy a quick present or if you forgot to buy the drinks for your friend's dinner. Another interesting thing is that for some reason most of the cashiers are usually smiling and nice, some are even willing to make small talk (if you want to)... I'm just saying this because it's a warm feeling when a cashier treats you as a person lol This is the kind of place that you are not thankful for until you don't have one around! Then there's the "I forgot to pack" syndrome which for me has included various toiletries, stationary, and charging cords. In these situations, the nearest chain drug store (Walgreens, CVS, etc.) is the best bet to restock. This one is on the way to the Plant, is easily accessible off the road, and has what you'd expect for a Walgreens. Nothing more nothing less. .I stopped in last week, they had what I needed, and I was soon on my way as it should be.

Personal, informative, and just good old fashioned FRIENDLY. Recommend stopping in even if you don't need medicine but just want to talk to someone. The owners uncle Paul Cire Bajon has been working in the store since he was 7 years old and he was 97 when we dropped in. ...and he was sitting behind the counter. Charlton Bajon is quite a historian and can tell you stories of the area. This drug store needs to be LISTED AS A STATE OF LOUISIANA HISTORICAL SITE.

There is currently a national shortage of the medication, so you would think this pharmacy would work with its customers to make sure that they could get it by answering questions such as what formulations they currently have in stock so that the customer could tell her provider what to write the prescription for. Nope. They told me I had to have my doctor call them and find out this information himself. The pharmacy tech was rude and distracted. She asked me three times for my birth date, and then would not give me information about my prescription. And it's not just this branch of CVS either. They are all equally terrible.
