First off, let me say I am a patient woman, but five hours waiting in a pharmacy is absolutely…read moreridiculous and no reason for it on a normal day. My doctor calls in my meds. I gave them two hours they get them done. I go pick them up on this day my doctor sent over my meds and I decided to wait because I was already there anyway I didn't wanna drive 30 minutes back home and then back to Dickson get on the app see my prescription trickle in. All about one so I go to the window this man very loudly list off all the medicines that I'm waiting on and I ask him for where the one is. He says we don't have that one. I said where's it at well your doctor hadn't sent it. I said my doctor sent all of them together. They're all there, but that one is lost in space it's not on his computer I said can you do some digging with your. Well, your doctor hasn't sent it ma'am. Yes he has, just like the other ones no no it's not here. so I called my doctor's office yes ma'am it was sent it 242 but if you would like, I will send it again. That would be great. I'm already an hour in send it again. The very rude man got up and walked off so I walked back up to the window and the lady comes over. There starts looking into it says oh I found all of them give me 30 minutes. Never mind you 3.of the 5 are already filled. One of the last two was Zofran and all you have to do is print the paper stick it on the box and it's good to go. Oh wait 34 minutes. Walk up there still nowhere in sight for the one. Which means I have to go back over to this window where this guy is now back eating some chips and drinking on his water while he's speaking to me no still don't see it. I said what do you mean? She said she found it. It would've been 30 minutes. She said yes I'm working on the last one right now which is the Zofran I took her that long to put a dang sticker on a box and she didn't get to it until she seen me walk up to the window. no ma'am, I'm not talking about that one. I'm talking about the one you said you found well. I remember speaking of these, but I don't remember speaking the one you were talking about I'm so sorry she says in a smart ass manner so I call my doctor again he said don't worry I'll just call it in over the phone thank you so I hear him take this phone call. Write down the prescription so I walked outside. Smoked a cigarette walked back in went to the bathroom and walked up to the window and said so, you got it now, right yep, putting it in right now are you kidding me? It's been 20 minutes since you received it. You know I've been here for five hours finally the pharmacy manager notices that I'm still there and asked me what I'm waiting on and I tell him and it's done in 10 minutes. No wonder if they're wanting to close all the Cvs's

There is something seriously wrong at this location! Prescriptions take way too long to get filled,…read morecars are always lined down the parking lot, and the place is a mess!! They literally have prescriptions on the floor!! CVS corporate really needs to come look at this place. There are some nice employees, but I can't imagine how miserable their jobs are!! The electronic checkin is one step in the right direction, but the back pharmacy processing is beyond inefficient!! They are right across from the hospital/ ER and an urgent care clinic. You would think when the ER/ Hospital/ Urgent Care calls in a script they would get it filled asap so someone leaving the ER/ etc. doesn't have to wait for an hour for their script! This place is a complete disaster!!

I just swapped my prescription over here from Walgreens. My doctor writes my prescription for three…read moremonths at a time but my insurance only covers it if it is filled one month at a time. Walgreens would not let me fill it one month at a time. Walmart had no issue with doing this. Instead of paying $60+ at Walgreens since they couldn't fulfill it one month at a time, my insurance now covers it 100% and I pay $0.00 since Walmart was so nice and can do it one month at a time. Sticking here for my prescriptions!

I have used all the Pharmacies in Dickson and quite honestly got tired of being treated like a…read morenumber so I decided to give Dickson Apothecary a try. They do their best to have your medical done in a reasonable amount of time and the workers are very friendly. I got tired of being treated like just another number by CVS,Walgreens,& Kroger pharmacies and have been very happy with the service at The Dickson Apothecary. They told me one prescription would take awhile and I went to gran some breakfast about 20 minutes and when I came back the lady said she knew I needed to get home and lay down so she moved me to the front of the line. I was feeling absolutely terrible so her act of compassion didn't go unnoticed. Inlike the time a few months before when I went into the CVS. There was a long line and I knew I was going septic so I walked up to the pharmacy desk to see how long it would be. Everybody on line could see that I was near passing out but the Pharmacist told me he didn't have time to answer questions and that I needed to get in the back of the line. Even the other customers were mad at the way I was treated whrn they could see I was in a bad way. I finally left went across the highway to the Horizon Emergency Room and was admitted immediately to the hospital and was there for more than 2 weeks. If you're new to Dickson or just tired of a Pharmacy treating you like your a bother instead of a valued customer then try The Dickson Apothecary you'll be glad you did.

I used to like the convenience of shopping in one store for groceries and other items I needed. However I will no longer be shopping at Walmart, but will go to other grocery stores and shops for the other items that I need. Shopping online is sounding more appealing than shopping at your store. Quit trying to fix what's not broke.
