If you walk to the Hat Museum and go in the third floor display it's kind of dark and easy to lose…read moreorientation and if you hear the sound of rain don't be alarmed it didn't start raining outside they're sound effects from one of the displays.
It's a very interesting story to discover how the Hat manufacturing started in Lindenberg around 400 years ago. I won't spoil it for you you have to go in and read for it and discover yourself.
The displays are on the 3rd and 4th floor reached by a huge circular staircase. They are nicely laid out with audio narration and many interesting displays even a braiding station where you can have a go at Brading for yourself, 3 different styles are hands-on.
There are very many nice examples of early machines, materials and the processes and lot of the history as well. Have a visit to the Lindenberg Hat Museum and it won't disappoint.
