I am presently a guest at this hotel, and regrettably, I find myself dissatisfied with the service provided by the front desk. Our stay, encompassing five nights, has been marked by a series of challenges. Despite my Diamond status with Hilton, the initial confusion arose when the receptionist indicated a Gold membership. Upon providing my Hilton Honors number for verification, an upgrade was begrudgingly granted, but only for a two-night duration, leading us to accept a regular room for the subsequent three nights.
To my dismay, I observed that the suite remained unoccupied after the second night, raising questions about the transparency of the room allocation process. Additionally, there has been a lapse in housekeeping services, as my room has not been cleaned for the past two days. Furthermore, there is a considerable disturbance to my sleep caused by a significant noise emanating from the refrigerator. I kindly request that this issue be addressed promptly.
Moreover, my request for a late checkout was denied by the receptionist. This entire experience contrasts sharply with my previous positive encounters, notably in Cancun, where I have consistently enjoyed commendable service.
Despite my considerable expenditure, amounting to an average of $300 daily on food and beverages, the primary concierge service has proven to be the most disappointing aspect of our stay. However, I would like to commend the affable demeanor of the staff in the pool and restaurants, who have contributed positively to our overall experience.
