The family-run business also has an apothecary and herbal salves and some soaps and other products like honey and jelly which according to the nice daughter tending the store her mother makes everything by hand. Additionally, all throughout the golf course are the many different plants used to make all the products in the shop. They are also edible. The golf course has a lot to be desired; is kind of run down and had better days. But, everyone plays the same course and it's easy enough to get through the 18 holes. My kid and I got a unimpressive 59 and my wife had a 60. We all got a hole-in-one on at least one hole, though! The facility also has a large 30+ chicken and duck coop which you can feed, and a couple of very friendly dogs. Golf was only $15 for the three of us! The honey and jam I purchased were also reasonably priced along with the rest of the shop. The daughter running the shop is off to college this fall, so best of luck to her. Recommended for some fun times in Maine!

Yesterday we had a serious issue when the pressure tank suddenly leaked badly starting to flood the lower level. Thank goodness we were home and I was able to turn off the water pump and called Haskells. They were here in about 2 hours as they had to finish up a job they were working on.
