What a great restaurant this is. Rheinsberg is a wonderful town with a good feel to it. Who would…read morehave thought we would find the best schnitzel we have ever eaten to be in a moderate sized a town nowhere near a major city.
Their prices were low, their service excellent and it's a very nice place to sit. Just for the sake of it, they make a great coffee and their asparagus soup was unbelievably good.
Our main courses are usually shared. My wife's schnitzel, as already mentioned, was superb. I ordered spätzle with champignons and it is no exaggeration to say it was up there with the best food we had any time during our five weeks in Europe.
Rheinsburg is not necessarily on the traditional tourist trail. But, if you ever make it there, try Der Seehof because it really is very, very good.
