Being in Schwabian country, I wanted to get my fix of the local cuisine, and I wasn't disappointed! Must haves are the Schwabian Pork Medallions over Spätzle and the Maultaschen (my fav was the cheese sauce...the sauce alone is good enough to just dip bread in and be content, but throw a German "Ravioli" or two in there = MIND BLOWN!). The food was good, prepared quick enough, and service was excellent. Portion sizing was large. The dining room is large and there is an outdoor seating area. The wine selection was a bit on the sweet side for me. The beer variety was good. If I stay in Honau again, I will eat and stay here on account of the service, good Wi-Fi, and overall ambiance of the restaurant.

This is not a trip for the weak ankled-- the cobble-stone streets go up and down and can confuse a new visitor. Luckily, I was with someone who knew the town so it was all good. The server at Krumme Brucke greeted us warmly and gave us menus. They have local beer on tap and I recommend it. We had the snitzel with ham and asparagus-- it is delicious and salty and served with pomme frites aka french fries. The atmosphere here is cozy and warm here. The good came out very fast and the taste was great. The balsamic salad dressing was perfect and the VinerShinizel was done to perfection. When we came to the desert the place had many choices of cackles but nothing appealed to me and all I wanted is vanilla ice cream with a strawberry on top.
