This coffee spot seemed to be from another city, I wouldn't expect to find it in the middle of Lake Jackson. Anyways, I convinced my colleague to stop here right after leaving the job site since we needed a flat surface to write and cool off. They have high tops, couches and bar top seating along the window facing the road. The interior is 80s themed and their drive thru setup is very archaic, which would not work in a big city, or a bad area. I'll just leave it at that. I ordered an iced wakey latte and my colleague ordered a cold brew with the toasted marshmellow syrup. The barista warned him the marshmellow flavoring was different and not for everyone, but he didn't listen. I really enjoyed mine, since it was very filling and delicious, albeit a bit pricy. He drank his on the way back to Houston, but had a bad taste in his stomach the entire time. read more

One of those little joints you find in small towns that are for sure worth trying. This is the second time around I come by and pick up one of their smoothies. Quiet, very laid back place plus they have great true coffee. Drive up in window and space to sit inside. If you ever come by the town, stop by and pick up a smoothie. Love the wall art!! And decor! I LOVE Wakey Wakey's and go at least once a week. The drinks are reasonably priced, service is always quick and friendly. The employees are always cheerful, even on busy days! The drive through is a great tool for business, and I've also found myself using that more often than anything. The s'mores frap with espresso whip cream is divine. I get it every time... it is always so tasty. They have other drinks I've tried, which all have been great. The scenery and vibe is funky and fun. This place is a gem truly just from the outside the art and vintage feel. Walking into the place dim and very retro from the suede couches to amazing art all around on the walls. I almost asked if any is up for sale. Such a great place. The employees are energetic and the service was quick. Especially, for myself trying the shop for the first time they didn't hesitate to explain the rewards and how to get free cupcakes. I mean who doesn't want free cupcakes! They have a variety of drinks and assortments of decadent desserts. This place is my new favorite coffee shop for sure. Every where you look is a new colorful mural, you won't be bored. And the coffee and snacks are some of the best I've had. Rude service: spoken to with condescending, defensive, and bad-mannered attitude. Also, not impressed with the coffee (generic milk substitutes used). I was able to speak with the owner about the unpleasant experience; I am grateful for him listening and for being apologetic. I wouldn't recommend as this is not the first time I've experience pretentious attitude from the workers. Lastly, the decor theme can be over stimulating. read more

Love that they have a drive thru! Always has delicious baked goods and cupcakes if you can snag one before they run out! I love their frappes but they have a variety of other drinks as well. During the winter when it was actually cold, I enjoyed their hot chocolate as well. They always have a variety of snacks and premade lunch items like salads and sandwiches. They also now serve frozen alcoholic beverages! To go of course. You can even get them in the drive theu because they are sealed. The pina colada, hurricane, White Russian and orange sunset are good!
