A few days ago, we went to this zipline park to do ziplining while in Waitomo. This park contains 10 ziplines - the shortest ones are at the beginning of the activity, and near the bottom of the mountains. The highest ones are at the top, and are the last part of the trip. The guide taught me how to do do ziplining, he was friendly, helpful and a great instructor, and it was actually really easy to do, once I got the hang of it. There are places that are good for photography and/or having an opportunity to have your photo taken. The long ziplines had great views, and are great for using an action camera to film the activity and the view, which I did. It is definitely worth it, and recommended for anyone with a great sense of adventure, and with a reasonable amount of fitness level, as the hills can be steep and at times, slippery with loose rocks (be warned). The guide also tells you a bit about the area surrounding the ziplines too. If you love adventures, ziplining, and looking for a bit of a thrilling experience with great views, this is well worth the experience and is highly recommended. read more
