It's located in a little residential area/neighborhood area frequented by all locals. The wait staff knows everyone. Greeting everyone by name & "your late today" and "didn't see you yesterday" and "here is your regular toast order" etc, etc., etc., they know what's up! Fabulous waitstaff that will customize your orders to a T! Crispy Waffle! Boom! Fabulous! Super Crispy hash browns! Perfection! OuiOui! Lemon with my water when I sit down? DONE. I called in an order for a couple of all Star breakfasts which is always my favorite. I was looking at the menu (on web and in yelp) so I knew what to expect cost wise. When I picked up my food - the bill Was about 10 higher than I expected. My buddy and I were headed out early to the Airport to work on a Bird and decided to stop first for some Breakfast. Unfortunately we never ate. Apparently the WH Corporate Team doesn't read Contract Law BEFORE publishing their New WH Menus so we found ourselves unwilling to pay $5.99 plus tax for 2 Eggs and some Grits. The Menu clearly stated....2 Eggs, Toast or Grits, Hashbrowns or Tomatoes. The Comma is a beautiful thing in Contract Law....apparently not at WH though... I went to pay the $6 for 2 small cups of coffee BUT was told I had to get up, get in line at the Cashier, and pay there. By the time we left we were both hungry and shell shocked from how much WH has changed since 'Pre Pandemic' times... We won't be back.... $9 buys a lot of eggs, grits, tomato, and Cafe Bustello. I'm a southern girl that moved to California and Ive tried all types of waffles and breakfast establishments. Nothing beats Waffle House! The people have that southern charm. The service is amazing! I always feel so much lighter and happier after leaving. Not tk mention full! The portions are large and everything is a great value. Give me Waffle House over IHOP and Dennys any day! The ambiance is like the neighborhood diner where everyone knows you and they are happy that you came in. You can eat the Waffle without syrup. We stopped at Waffle House before a flight out of Pensacola. We especially love the waffles. This time there was no crowd and plenty of seating. That isn't always the case when eating here. I knew I was having a waffle but the server showed us their specials and I changed to a waffle, coffee and two eggs for the same price. The eggs were ordered over medium well. They were delivered nearly raw. The eggs still had the clear under the yolk just like you see when you crack a raw egg. ICK. I didn't order again. We were in town on vacation and this Waffle House was just down the street from our rental. Food was great. And the staff was very attentive and friendly to our party of six. One of the best restaurant experiences during our entire trip. We ate here two mornings in a row. Wish I could've gotten our two waitresses names. They were the absolute best. read more

Then made a second order grill cheese, I asked for we'll melted, 2 pcs cheese were sliced little part of grill which was not well cleaned. I old waitress did not want it. Whether cook was in a rush change of shift or just did not know how to make a simple grilled cheese melted well beyond me. Potatoes scattered, we'll got it plain and greasy. Gee. Poor service. Sat for 20 minutes before being given a drink and even still I had to ask someone that was not my waitress. A party of 6 ordered together but one person received their food well over 20 minutes before the other patrons. I am so confused by this locations service. We went to the WAFFLE HOUSE. Marcus, the manager, was AWESOME!!! There he was, cooking on the grill, expediting EVERYTHING, running EVERYTHING and still had time to check how EVERY SINGLE PERSON'S meal was in the ENTIRE restaurant. The reality is, the way Marcus ran that restaurant was EXACTLY how I remember WAFFLE HOUSES being ran in the late 80s & early 90s and it's SOMETHING...I have not seen since then. It was the way I remembered the WAFFLE HOUSES. It was EXACTLY what made them FUN and WORTH going to! More WAFFLE HOUSES should follow Marcus' lead! read more

Disgusting. Dirty. Every inch of this waffle house was filthy. The cooks did not wear covering for their heads. All of the tables were dirty. The waitress had no teeth her uniform was completely dirty and filthy. It literally is a very gross place like I felt like I was in the back alley of a ghetto truly they need to be reported to the health department food was caked on the floor. We eat at Waffle House frequently and usually at this one. On 9/05/2018 we were to eat at about 10:30 am. It was filled with people but shortly they cleaned 2 empty tables and we were seated. Someone came over and took our drink order and set up for eating. A very nice young man come with our drinks and took our orders. He brought my salad right away and then we waited and waited and waited for 30+ minutes for our food. I was able to see the cooks and noticed they were preparing about 15 takeouts and everything they cooked went into those containers. Our waiter kept apologizing for the delay. Of course the takeout people arrived and there were (?) mistakes so more delay. Finally I got my eggs and bacon but no waffle for my husband. About 10 minutes later an undercooked waffle was served and my husband had order it well done. We then asked for a refund for the waffle but it was denied by the manager since it was a combo. We were then told they could give us a 10 or 15 percent discount . We paid and left because the manager was not responsive to us. Outside we asked another table of patrons how they finished before us when we were there 15 minutes before them and they explained that they never got their waffles. This is very poor and I would like to know their policy on take-out having precedence over seated patrons read more

Horrible. Order a cheeseburger. Cook tossed a n old pre patty on grill for 5 sec each side. Never hot enough to melt the cheese. If I haven't already paid, I would have walked. McDonalds does better...I hate McDonalds. read more

My first experience of Waffle House was at this location. Being a first timer, I must admit the food is delicious! I had the waffle and the hash brown, and both were absolutely satisfying. So I highly doubt anyone will read this or that anything will be done. My fellow classmate and I went one morning to this establishment on the way to shook usually she gets one specific waiter who is awesome and is great at customer service which is why she goes almost every morning after a long bus ride from her house. This one particular morning we got a waitress who seemed less than happy to have to wait on us, my friend ordered a biscuit and gravy like she does every morning and a chicken salad to go during her order she asked if she cheese on the salad and was told no so she asked if she could please have one put on there. Well she gets her biscuit and gravy and the gravy is so watery it just flows through the fork like a watery soup and you could see the small clumps of flour in the "sauce" water. We tried many of times to get the waitresses attention she even made eyes contact with us a few times and still stayed on the other end of the restaurant catering to her other customer hand and foot never leaving their side (let it be known the couple was a middle aged black couple) now I don't ever play the race card because it's utterly ignorant but as we sat there we noticed how she handled each customer and could only come to the conclusion that it had to be the cause. When she finally came back close to 15 mins later with her to go order of the salad was when my friend showed her the biscuits and gravy (not a bite was eaten out of it) she scoffed and said I will get you another one I guess. My friend was like no thank you ma'am we are gonna be later for school..... Needless to say my poor friend had her lunch for breakfast at school and also was charged $3.50 for that slice of cheese on the salad!!!! When I asked her why she didn't say something she said she was already to tired from how we were treated and didn't want to make a scene. I had an overall amazing experience here. We went on a busy Sunday and were warmly welcomed in,even though the place was packed. Our rather large group sat down right away and the entire staff was so friendly. Our waitress wasted no time, and checked on us frequently. Such southern hospitality, it was amazing. The food was too die for. If you're a health nut, well I'm sorry, this may not be the place for you. Maybe it's because I'm from California, but the Waffle House was a huge disappointment. The waitress was nice and friendly. Food was cheap but you get what you pay for. I asked for extra crispy hash browns which were not and my waffle was soggy. The waitress said she'd bring me another one but it never came. The orange juice was watered down. On 06/11/18, my husband and I had spent most of the morning at a medical appointment. By the time we were finished it was after 1pm and we were hungry. He had not eaten since the night before. He wanted to go to Waffle House. The nearest one was on 9th Avenue, at the Langley intersection. We arrived to find the parking lot almost empty. We entered and were not acknowledged. We chose a booth by the window. No one came, no one looked our way, and there were no menus on the table. About 10 minutes passed and I noticed that a cook asked a waitress if she was going to wait on us. She looked our way, and finally came over to ask what we would like to drink. SLOW, SLOW, SLOW! She brought the iced tea and water and asked were we ready to order. I said I wanted to see a menu first. Menus arrived and we sat, and we sat, and we never could catch her eye to let her know we were ready to order. One waitress was on the phone and the other was talking to another employee. I know we wasted a good 20 minutes trying to get something to eat in a place where there were hardly any customers. My husband and I agreed that we would never return to this Waffle House. My husband left a couple of dollars on the table to cover his tea. We left disappointed and hungry. read more

the wait for this place is up and down. common sense says that you'll have to wait longer during a regular mealtime. i've been here for a brunch type of deal and had to wait, but not too long. i'd say 10-15 mins. seating IS rather limited, but that could just be a factor of THIS particular location. i'm unfamiliar with other waffle houses. does the wait affect the quality of the food? absolutely not! if time is a factor, i'd try to visit during a non-popular mealtime or come when you have time! the people here show that genuine southern hospitality and help you to awesome food at a great price. what's not to love? read more
