Awful, I asked for a Texas chicken melt with no bacon and with jalapeños, and a double order of hash browns with a tea, took 20+ mins to get my drink and when they brought my food out the sandwich had no chicken on it at first, I had to send it back for the chicken, had bacon on it when I asked for no bacon, didn't have the jalapeños I asked for, only gave me one order of hash browns, the floors were disgusting as well. I'd rather take the extra 15 minutes to drive to the Hernando Waffle House than return here read more

I mean, come on. It's Waffle House? Seriously, what's not to like? You know exactly what you're gonna get, every time. It's consistent. It's darned tasty! And they pay attention to detail! Plus the staff are always friendly and extroverted; little loud but not excessively. Just fun. They make you feel welcome. Plus - and this part is huge - we have food allergies and they always take the utmost care. Seriously, I cannot think of one single other restaurant that is always as meticulous and careful when dealing with our food allergies. A+ on that! Negatives? Not many. The booths are a touch small for 4 adults or two adults and two teens. Also, this last visit, our food came so fast that we didn't even get a refill on our coffee. So is that s bad thing? My go to has always been their hash browns. They come with a great selection of toppings, can't go wrong with chili, ham, cheese, onions, whatever floats your boat. For my main part of the meal I go with either the patty melt for one of their breakfast options centered around eggs. You can't go wrong with either. If you are looking for a greasy spoon diner experience, I would recommend the Waffle House. There is nothing fancy about here, however, every meal doesn't have to be fancy. read more

You know what you're getting at Waffle House: quick, cheap, greasy diner food. And man did this hit the spot. But what really set this place apart was how hard the staff was working on a Sunday morning during peak hours. They were juggling lots of to go orders, a full house and a waitlist. I lovedddddddd eating breakfast here with my friend love today. The service was impeccable, the food was so good. These were the best eggs I've ever had. My eggs don't even taste like this. The food was hot and the waitress was very attentive and sweet. Let me not forget the hostess who was so friendly and nice. I really enjoyed my experience and definitely would go back. The restaurant was clean too. I really wish it was bigger to accommodate more people. The wait wasn't long, but even if it was it would've been worth the wait. They earned these 5 stars. read more

If I could put a negative rating I would...Went to go in establishment and was told by waitress coming out at 8:45pm they would not be taking orders until 9:15pm. No reason as to why. She then proceeded to walk out the door. There was another worker sitting inside eating. I'm assuming the two were on lunch/dinner break, but this is just unacceptable from a business perspective. This place is a joke everytime I come here. Workers are always sitting around never wanting to work. I just went in and 3 employees were sitting down on their phone eating and told me that I couldn't order because the cooked had left. It's 4:30 in the morning with no one inside. So being undecided about going to Graceland because of morning hunger, I knew if I drove south I'd be in Mississippi and have a chance to try something new. Ihop's were everywhere but in the distance, I see the old school sign of the waffle house. I walk in and it is a small little greasy spoon that is light on grease and loaded with charm. My breakfast was simple, a couple of sunny side up eggs with jalapeno, onion & cheese hash brown's, a small side of bacon and a single waffle. Everything was done to perfection and when I was done, a to-go cup of coffee was offered. I had a counter seat overlooking the grill and the guy cooking was having orders called out non-stop and he handled it all. I didn't get the biscuit's and gravy or the grits, which were popular but I definitely would go back. Mississippi still offers smoking and non-smoking sections which is different then smoke free Mn but the place was ventilated pretty good. The place is worth a stop. read more

It's great breakfast food. The staff here is super nice- they're very organized and it doesn't take long to be served. Costs are very reasonable, but the coffee is a bit high. Great location and easy parking will get you in and out if you're in a hurry. read more

The worst, bar none, Waffle House I've been to. I've eaten there about 8 times and every time I swear I'm not going back. This time I'm keeping my promise to myself. Terrible, awful, lazy service. These people don't even care enough to keep grits hot. You have to ask for more coffee every time and after you ask you're lucky if they decide they'll give you some after 5 minutes. I gave it a four because the orders were asked over and over...that's what pen/paper are for. If you've never been to a waffle house, it's a must try experience. With over 2000 locations, don't be surprised that you cannot find one in California. I ordered pancakes, eggs, bacon, hash Browns with gravy, and biscuits. I cannot say enough about the entire meal and it cost me less than 9 Box. We have eaten in several Waffle Houses over the years and the food has always been delicious. This one was no exception. The service though, was terrible. Out of the 4 orders we placed, only one was correct. One was sent back because of undercooked eggs. Twice they brought out the wrong order. Finally the manager came out and got our orders straightened out. Then they brought me the ham I ordered which sat getting cold until the rest of my order came. It was still wrong but I ate it anyway. They did comp my meal but after all that I don't think they knew what to charge me for, the meal I ordered or the one I ate! Good service good food just not appetising watching them cook and clean with the same gloves

I went in hungry and left out with a ruined appetite. Watching the cook made me feel completely disgusted. He would wipe his hands on his pants then stick his hand in a bowl of raw eggs to try to scoop some out into another bowl (while using the same gloves he wiped on his pants). The he would scope the grits into a bowl and the realized he made some kind of mistake and put those same grits back into the pot of grits. He is a completely unsanitary cook and I will never eat here while he is the cook. Usually, I have a good experience at waffle house but not today. read more
