I visited this waffle joint twice after having completed UTMB because I felt like I deserved something delicious. More so because I was in a huge caloric deficit, which was totally playing to my advantage when I came across this place. It carries a variety of flavors as well as other snacks. I highly recommend the waffles there though. Also... try and speak a little French even if you can't quite speak it, s'il vous plait. It isn't necessary but I did it and I don't speak the language, and it's worthwhile. Regardless, go get the waffle!

We waited 5-10 min till we got our waffles. I went with the Nutella (cause it's the best topping ever invested) my wife went with the homemade caramel. The Nutella naturally won the contest against the caramel. The caramel was not as sweet or strong as we hoped for, maybe for someone with a less sweet tooth would find it perfect but not us. The waffle texture was great, crunchy from the outside and soft from the inside. Although the waffle itself was standard. Overall good waffles but nothing special and would not wait over 10 min for it. Here are my ratings: Nutella waffle: 8/10 Caramel waffle: 7/10

It is a pretty decorated chalet with Graff jewels on the first floor. It was kind of cheesy in my opinion. Food was ok and you can find much better options on the mountain itself. It is super overpriced for the quality of food you get. Everything on the menu is 30 Euros and up. Only 3 stars in my book.

At Michelin-star-restaurants the food is not this expensive. In any restaurant in France I know you can always buy a bottle of nice French wine at a price that suits your budget but not here, almost all wines are above €100,- There is a budget option outside where you can eat 'snacks'. Here the food (like pizza) is below €30 per item and the wine can be ordered by glass only (why not sell these wines per bottle?) The quality of the food we had was OK but we will not return to this place because we know of better value places around. There is a jewellery store at the premise and one or two guards (?) overlooking the place (is that for the jewels or for the guests?).
