I wanted to make this review as I am completely devastated by the lack of responsiveness and accountability Karen and her company have taken to address the wedding photos of my parents' wedding back in 1983. Her husband at the time forgot the battery packs and they lost a significant number of photos due to this. My parents have tried to contact Karen over the years to recover the negatives, which she claims she still has, and Karen ghosts them and refuses to contact them back to provide these. Given this response, I want to let others know that this has not been a reliable business to my family and has greatly caused pain, disappointment, and a miss of many important memories on a momentous occasion. Karen has had the chance to make things right and work with us, but the job is in the past for her and she chooses to ignore instead of offer ways to fix the mistakes her company made at the time. read more

We met them at The Castaway at their regular food tasting event. Our venue was at The Castaway and they were one of the recommended photography vendors The Castaway recommended. It was extremely helpful that they were familiar with The Castaway, especially since our videographer was not familiar with the area. They knew where and when to get all the great shots. Our photographer was Michael for both our engagement shoot and for the day of the wedding. This is guy is awesome. Everyone loved him. My husband and I are not models so obviously not used to photoshoots and adjusting ourselves into aesthetically looking poses. Michael has a way of making it fun and easy. You won't feel awkward at all with him and he'll catch really good shots. Karen and her daughter, Kristen, were the ones who handled all communication. They are SPEEDY and effective communicators. Very professional. Something I very much appreciated. They were aware I was planning my own wedding and were always reminding me of things I may have missed or suggesting alternatives to help us save money. On the day of the wedding, Karen kept me calm when no one was keeping to the schedule. With more than 15 sponsors, a bridal court of 18 people, 3 flower girls, and 1 ring bearer, it got CHAOTIC fast. We have tried unsuccessfully for years to retrieve negatives from our Wedding back in 1983. The photographer captured less than 20% of our event as his batteries died and he failed to bring backup batteries. We ended up using photographs from attendees who used their instant cameras. We've tried reaching out to Karen both by e-mail and voice mail and she fails to respond to our messages. Years ago, Karen told us the negatives were in her archives...it's been 5 years and no response. If I could, I would give this company a negative rating. I'm certain there are other reputable photographers who are competent and customer-focused, this company has failed us. read more
