We always get the Super Low Carb plate and share it. I do miss the macaroni salad but sometimes we order it on the side. That plate is huge and we share it. It comes with 3 eggs cooked the way you want. 3 pieces of BBQ chicken that we sometimes sub for Chicken Katsu. Two short ribs and some beef. It's a huge meal. We come here a lot and definitely recommend ordering ahead if you're on a lunch break. Everything is cooked fresh so if they're busy it's sometimes a wait to get your food. Best Makai location…read more I have been to 3 Makai locations since they have opened the last 9 years I've been here. I've been to the Rock Springs, St Rose, and Maryland parkway. Out of all 3, the best lately has been this place. From food to staff, it stays consistent for my experiences. The best is when the manager or lead ( he looks like David from Schitt's creek) made me a new bowl because the food wasn't fresh since we had been waiting for the chicken katsu for 10min. He made the other worker look pretty bad for trying to serve me food that was not going to be fresh since we had waited for the katsu. I didn't even have to say anything and he went out of his way! I'll always remember and still come back knowing he really cares about the customers! Anyways, the staff do keep the food here fresh! This location is def consistent in doing this while St Rose fails at this. I had dry chicken at st rose before and I couldn't be convinced to come back. This place doesn't seem to let their food sit for a long time. I never got burnt chicken here. Katsu is consistent. I can't speak for poke since St Rose location put a bad taste in my mouth with their poke ( it was so salty). Macaroni salad is on point( not salty like St Rose). Hapa rice is heaven rice here. Soft and fresh. It was good yesterday! Salads are kept fresh as well. No lifeless veggies! My favorite about Makai is the seasame dressing! That is my crack!!! If it wasn't for that dressing, I wouldn't come back! lol They also have my favorite masubis! Ambience is chill. Overall, the leading staff here who been here long time needs recognition because they have always stayed consistent and been on top of it with the food and service the past year!

He took the time to explain the menu and helped me choose the best option for what I was looking for. The portions were generous, the quality was excellent, and I definitely felt like I got my money's worth. In my opinion, it's better than Flame Broiler, Waba Grill, and most other teriyaki spots I've tried. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Vegas!

I had Bo House Salad ($11.08), it comes with housemade ranch, compliments nicely with crispy chicken tenders, salad has plenty of fresh crisp lettuce, bacon, cucumbers, very filling and delicious! Latief stopped by my table and asked if I wanted dressing for the salad, he mentioned they have balsamic vinaigrette and also recommend honey mustard. I'm happy with the housemade ranch, but I wouldn't mind trying other dressings. I also ordered Sausage, Egg & Cheese Biscuit Combo ($8.50) which includes a drink and a side. I asked for Bo-Tato Rounds and they are nice to accommodate. I love their Bo Rounds, they make it light and crispy with soft potatoes, it's really good especially when dipped in housemade ranch, YUM! Service from Devonte and Latief is kind, attentive, courteous, polite, and friendly! They are very welcoming and patient, even near closing I was told there's no rush and to enjoy the food, that is so nice and it warms my heart, I appreciate it! Heading out, I heard a beautiful enchanting melody that totally got my attention, and I couldn't leave Bojangles until I figured out the song. It's performed by the band caroline (featuring Caroline Polachek), titled "Tell me I never knew that." The lyrics are simple yet captivating repeating phrase like "I don't wanna be somebody else. At the right time." It's like a chant and there's a trumpet playing later in the melody, adding lush sounds, it's very peaceful and serene! It's great visiting Bojangles, they have good vibes, delicious food, excellent service, and awesome music!
