This place is hit and miss. We were encouraged when they opened, but now that the managers and owners have gone AWOL you will need to check everything that the kids working here dump in your order. We keep giving them another chance in the hopes that we just caught them on a bad night, but they tend to blow it. Most recently, we took home a bag of food, only to discover that they had switched our order with somebody else. When we returned, they basically gave us the finger. Interestingly, the person right behind us was returning to complain about some bone-head move. Give this place a miss. Get a sandwich from the Subway or a burrito from the Del Taco right next door. Paid for nasty food the chicken dry and hard and the steak bowl with hard rice and reheated steak. Got my order to go took one bite and Threw away the food because it was bad. This has to be the worst ran WaBa Grill I've ever been too. The place is dirty, not sure how hot it was but it's the middle of winter and I worked up a sweat. Asked for avocado... none. Sesame seeds... none. Got my order and I'm pretty sure this is a kid's bowl and I paid for 4 large bowls. The meat tasted like it was reheated. The rice was normal. (Can't really Mess that up.) I went there on 7/20/21 and ordered a family meal to take home for dinner. I requested no cabbage in my meal and they charged me 2.00$ for removing it. I did not notice until I got home and reviewed my receipt. The person behind the counter did not tell me I would be charged either. I called the corporate office about it and they said the store manager or store owner would call me. It's been 11 days and still NO phone call. For a quick serve spot, WaBa is actually quite good. We stumbled upon this on a road trip and were pleasantly surprised by the beef ribs and salmon bowls. The meals were light, not greasy. I think this is such a great "healthy" fast food option. I didn't feel disgusting after eating it like when I do after eating McDonald's. My fiancé ordered the salmon veggie bowl and I ordered the half beef/half chicken veggie bowl. My fiancé really liked his salmon and said he would definitely have it again. I would probably just get the chicken again - the beef was very dry and had the consistency of beef jerky. I'm torn between giving this a 3 star or a 4 star rating... The food wasn't bad but it wasn't the best I've ever had. The staff was super nice and the facility was clean. The people working at this location have a total attitude with the exception of the kid ringing the order tonight. He may have been new. They're ALWAYS out of white meat chicken. When asked how long it would take for more was told 25 minutes. Complete BS because the grill was full of chicken. One of my co-workers suggested I this place after experiencing the delightful delicacies of the Flame Broiler! The rating says it all: Eek! Methinks NOT! This place boasts healthy and natural choices offering brown rice and with chicken and beef selections with vegetables. Great for those who opting to dine out and looking for a place that's somewhat healthy. The down side is that the food is just less than sub-par! I ordered the chicken bowl which comes with veggies and brown rice. The chicken was not even grilled! No grill marks, to char smell or flavor, nothing! It tasted like it was oven baked with no seasoning or flavor, very bland. Not to mention the regular chicken bowl comes with dark-meat chicken which was a bit fatty for my liking. You must pay extra for chicken breasts and the cost for brown rice is also extra! The rice was decent although you have to be pretty terrible to mess up basic rice. I believe the veggies may have been steamed or boiled but didn't taste fresh. I was utterly disappointed that I wasted nearly $8 on a bowl of crap! I ended up giving the rest of it to my dog, that's how nasty this food was. So if you are thinking that this is similar to the Flame Broiler, don't waste your time or money!
