I can only speak for the rooftop bar, which is awesome, but confusing as hell to get to. You have to go up separate elevator banks to get there and someone from hotel security has to actually let you on the elevator once you get to the one that actually lets you up to the rooftop. I guess that's their way of trying to keep out the less desirable clientele. We were told the best night is Thursday and I wish we had been there to find out. Still, it was getting pretty wild for a Tuesday night. The rooftop pool and incredible views of the city have all the makings for a good time. My only complaint was the tacky plastic furniture on the lower deck. I couldn't believe my eyes when I first saw it. The W should be ashamed.

The W Santiago is now my favorite W! Outside: Perfect area, walking distance to a row of nice restaurants. Secluded entrance from a busy street. Walking distance to Metro and a park is near. The park even hosts antique booths over the weekend. I managed to score two items even though my Spanish is horrible! Inside: Decorated super chic, great hanging out areas. Four Macs in great room to access, free wifi in those rooms (and free in your room if you're lucky). Restaurants including nightclub and terrace. Staff is super friendly and follow the motto: Whenever, Whatever! I lost my iPad charger in Mendoza, they brought one to my room to use during my stay, FREE! The sommelier was very cool. We saw him walking around and having multiple conversations with guests several nights in a row and my husband even asked him a few questions. They have two huge glass (bullet proof) refrigerated wine WALLS holding up the bar lounge area. They have the best wine cellar in all of Santiago, at least that's what several local friends of ours told us. They also told us that it's the place to go in Santiago! We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more.. It was divine!

Great hotel, beautiful decor, amazingly friendly and helpful staff! Carolina, Giuliana, Oscar, Carlos were amazing! Very good breakfast, awesome terrace with a nice pool and an amazing view. Great and modern gym with really cool classes to keep fit. Big comfy beds, great tub, high speed internet access. Really cool night club @ Whiskey Blue. We had a great time at W Santiago! I totally recommend it.

Good first impression, greeted at the door with doorman to take our luggage. Check in had a bit of a wait but we were offered some water lightly scented with tropical fruit. Checkin was easy and Internet access was open (which helps with checking in on yelp). Modern decor in the hallways and security in the elevators with only key card access. Rooms were deep gray and purple color scheme. Clean, updated, with comfy beds as to be expected with high end hotels. The sleek modern bathroom had amenities from Bliss which was quite nice. Beds were comfortable and soft sheets with an easy to adjust thermostat. One disappointing factor however was the bathroom towels. They were dry, thin and very disappointing for a high quality hotel like this; one would expect luxurious fluffy towels. These towels need to retire to the poolside. Even after getting the room serviced the next day the quality of the towels remained crusty and overbleached. The breakfast here is probably the most impressive selection of pastries, meats, fresh fruits and aesthetic display I have ever seen at a hotel. Freshly baked goods, a coffee bar, pan fried potatoes on a hot plate, plus a selection of jamon serrano, cheeses, and smoked salmon. They had freshly squeezed juice in individual jars and a nice variety of freshly cut fruit. I especially enjoyed the nispero which had a mild juicy flavor. The night lift here is set. Its great to be able to have an evening downstairs and only have to saunter back to your room. There a selection of top rated restaurants in the building itself so you do not have to wander far for a great meal.

This W is fabuloso!!!!!! Great lobby staff, gyms staff, reception staff, maid staff. The poolside staff of young people have got to go!!! Sat near as they were ordered to improve the attentive service and it went no were. We had to keep asking for beverages and snacks they were dragging, it's a staffing issue not manager cause they were told and as soon as he left they dropped the ball. The Hotel and the rest of the staff saved this review, incredibly attention to service and so nice is the location close to food and drink and transportation. The decor is very stylish and crisp clean very nice. The gym is a health club of anything you could want or need to get fit and feel good. I really liked the poolside view of the Mountains. Would bring family here and hope to. I'm a lifetime Platinum member and I have to say this was top service and hotel, I'm happy.

Note: you need a reservation in advance as this is a popular place. They also have food options but they are small and expensive. It's worth noting friends enjoyed the food though. The drinks were beautiful and affordable in comparison to U.S. prices. It was 8$ for a mojito at a rooftop bar which is a bargain! They also have mocktail options I tried one of them which was less than 6$ and I enjoyed it. I'd definitely recommend this for a special night out!

I decided a pros and cons list was the best way to sum up my stay: PROs: - I visited in the fall and the USD seems to go a bit further in Chile than expected. That said, my room was a great deal! It was on the 19th floor and had amazing views of the city and the Andes in two separate directions. It also had a massive bathroom and in room tub. - I ordered room service one night when I decided it was too late to venture into the city and find a meal. Once again, very reasonably priced room service and a delicious selection. - The staff was very friendly. Almost everyone spoke English fluently but was more than willing to indulge my attempts at Spanish. CONs: - Unless you are big shopper (this hotel is literally in Costanera Center mall), you are pretty far from some of the main sights in Santiago. However, the metro is nearby and very easy to use. The surrounding area is also safe and easily navigable. - One thing that bugged me was how dirty the windows are. It was a small gripe and certainly cold whether for window cleaning but it would have been nice if they weren't so foggy. All in all, I would recommend a stay here. It was an American style hotel in the heart of a non-touristy part of Santiago. They also have plentiful amenities - rooftop bar, fitness center, parking, etc. Thanks for a great stay!

I was so disappointed with this property that I didn't even take pictures! I gave it 3 stars…read morebecause of the location, the doormen, bellhop and Diego. First, I booked this hotel because of the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program. It being under Marriott, I had expectations. Let's start with the structure. We were greeted warmly by the hotel doorman. The lobby was small but clean. There are 2 high tables in the side where you can sit and charge your devices. Otherwise, there are only 2 chairs at the lobby that is available for when you have other companions waiting while you do your business at the reception desk. There is a small waiting area next to the reception desk. Then the restaurant. I don't know how big the restaurant is because I didn't even access it. The 2 elevators are small, probably fits 6 people but efficient. We got a room at the end and it was reportedly a deluxe room with 2 double beds. I guess that's what I booked for. Anyways, the room smelled of an old building. The bathroom was standard. Nothing in it felt like it was a Marriott property. It's the same tier as the Courtyard but felt like a much lower category. Second, I can commend the old doormen who always has a smile on their face when they open the door for you. The old gentleman/bellhop who helped us with our luggage was also adorable and showed pride in his job. I cannot say the same of Natalia, the front desk lady who helped us check in. She was so cold and not very helpful. She was very stingy with her smile and didn't look like she wanted to be there. She didn't even acknowledge my status as a Titanium Elite member. I am not trying to be a primadonna but that is customary of ALL Marriott properties. I asked her about the area and where to get Traditional Chilean food and she was directing us to somewhere far. Come to know from our tour guide that there was one not too far from the hotel. We got more info about the area from our tour guide. Diego, the afternoon front desk person, though, was excellent. He helped us book our restaurant reservations twice as well as our transport to the restaurants and airport. Third, the amenities. The towels were worn out. We had to ask for our daily complimentary bottled water, coffee and tea, which are normally replenished when the room is cleaned. And when we asked for the coffee, the housekeeping brought only decaffeinated k-cups. When we asked if they had regular coffee, she stared at us and said they don't have regular coffee. I may sound like I'm griping but it is a Marriott property. If it was a different brand hotel, I probably would have been okay. It's literally an "expectation vs reality" experience. I would still recommend this place for the location. A lot of nice restaurants around. But definitely needs a lot of improvement within.

The hotel itself seems like it was thrown together quickly and has nothing special or warm about it. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. My husband and I aren't fluent in Spanish so it's a little difficult getting around. However, the staff at Four Points are almost fluent in English and helped us navigate as we all get us a taxi for a specified time. As for the lobby, it's not very welcoming and there's nothing special about it. It has a motel feel to it. The elevators are sketchy and bounce around a bit. The room was lackluster and not well designed at all. The wallpaper is nice but then it kind of just fell flat from there. Nothing matched (green corduroy chair, red and black office chair on wheels, green recycle bin with stickers peeling off, white and red striped curtains...you get the idea). It looked like a garage sale of a room. The bathroom was large but the floor was dirty. The shower had great water pressure and the water temperature was amazing. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash smelled phenomenal (which I LOVE hotels with great scents). There is room service but we didn't use it/need it. The hotel is located right on a restaurant-filled street. We ate next door at a burger place and it was SO good (highly recommend). The property is located near the mall (which has a grocery store inside), Sky tower, Hard Rock Cafe, etc. and walkable friendly. It really has a prime location. So if you're looking for a quick and cheap one or two night stay, this is an okay hotel. As for amenities, design, and comfort...I would look elsewhere.

A great stay for me doesn't invalidate someone else's disappointment, and a bad experience for another person doesn't mean the hotel can't shine. But in this case, I genuinely hope my review helps anyone in doubt about staying here. Because my stay at The Ritz-Carlton Santiago was nothing short of phenomenal. The rooms were fantastic: comfortable, elegant, and meticulously maintained. Their pool and hot tub were also highlights, beautiful, relaxing spaces that elevated the whole experience. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the service, which was incredible from beginning to end. The breakfast spread was wide, varied, and delicious. Something for everyone. One of the standout items was a Chilean dessert I absolutely loved. When I asked Daniel Pinto, the Maitre d' what it was and where I could buy it outside the hotel, he went above and beyond, bringing me a boxed portion to take with me. Even more impressive, Daniel wasn't working the next morning, yet he still arranged for the head chef to bake an entire pastry of this dessert and deliver it to our table. And a special shoutout to Consuelos, who baked it early in the morning just so it would be fresh for us. That level of thoughtfulness is truly rare. My stay at The Ritz-Carlton Santiago was extraordinary in every way, and the warmth and dedication of the staff made it unforgettable. I couldn't recommend this hotel more highly.

First, there's a big disconnect between the hotel and the broader Bonvoy program. I used suite night awards toward this reservation, and got an email confirming a suite a few days before my arrival. Despite the confirmation, I was still placed in a standard room. The front desk also came to my room around 1230pm on my final day, asking if I was leaving yet, since standard checkout is at 12pm. The problem is, I indicated late checkout on the app (and when checking in at the front desk), so I was confused why they were pressuring me to leave at the standard time. Finally, the club lounge was never stocked, it was just a glorified seating area more than anything else. Bonvoy issues aside, the room was fine, but a little below expectations for the price. The water pressure in both the shower and toilet was comically low, and very unsatisfying. There was repainting directly across the hall from me, which apparently couldn't wait, and left me huffing paint fumes for the majority of my stay. And the location of this hotel is a little inconvenient relative to most of the major tourist activities, though there are nice restaurants about 10 minutes away on foot. Overall, I think this hotel would benefit from tightening up its operations, in terms of guest placements, check ins/out, and maintenance projects near guest rooms.

I found this bar with my sister two days ago and had a couple of drinks, and a good experience. So we returned. The bartender was great, and there again. We are from the USA, but we understand Spanish. Something that the two people seated behind us did not assume. We ordered drinks - and my sister said to me, they don't think we can understand them, do they? I hadn't been listening until then, but I started. They were talking in extremely derogatory terms and mocking us openly. My sister is younger than me by a decent amount, and at one point the gentleman said that she was most likely sleeping with me so she could afford to keep coloring her hair. I will spare you the rest of the lurid and graphic details, but they wasted no time belittling us and laughing about the possible follies of my "purchased relationship" that they presumed, and all of this was right in front of us. We asked the bar tender if they worked there - because it looked like perhaps a casual business meeting between them - and he confirmed that they were employees of the hotel!! So I just spent time and money going to Renaissance hotel to be out loud mocked and sexually degraded by the staff. I intend to take this to every level of the organization. Pull the tapes renaissance - you will see it. It happened November 26, 2025 in the 18:00 hour. You will see what we experienced. I have been a traveling professional for 30+ years - and have been a pretty loyal Marriott person. I KNOW that this is not what the brand represents or intends - which is why something MUST be done - these people need to lose their jobs. When I got up to leave - because I was not about to listed to more, and cancelled my order - I said to them, in spanish, that I understood them - and he looked surprised and like a juvenile in trouble, but made no attempt to even apologize. It would occur to me that his paycheck may depend on tourists, so he might want to mock them less, and for sure don't make it explicit and sexual. NOT OKAY. NOT AT ALL. I will hope that this review receives a reply from someone who understands what the brand represents and stands for.
