I have been visiting this bookshop since I was at school; it has provided me with a large variety of books throughout my Universtiy times too. Books are inexpensive, and you can take along any unwanted books too. I once had a school trip to the book shop, where we walked across the villiage green peering into Penn Pond too! I love the way that such an old building can house so many titles/authors all under one roof! It's brilliant if you want something specific, or just fancy a browse. The staff are very friendly, and seem to know where every thing is in the shop. That's a memory for you! Good for old travel guides and old style maps too.

Just a great place to have a good browse. Your sure to find a book or several to purchase. There is parking along the lane for several cars. You can also take your used books in, and although they won't necessarily take them all, any books they are interested in they will pay you a small amount for them.

It's a biggish shop with two floors and it's quite cluttered and packed with things. As a book lover I find this shop great as they sell heavily discounted books-sometimes ones that are fairly new releases too. For instance last time I went I bought the Hunger Games trilogy for less than a fiver. They have a wide range of stock, and apart from the cluttered/messy aspect, this is a great shop.
