Absolutely ripped off by this company
Hit a pot hole my tyre blew out so Found myself stranded on a busy road Nutts were the closest company less than 2 miles away ...as i was still working and had patients to see i was anxious to get back on the road. Rang Nutts at 4.50pm they are open until 5.15pm was advised the tyre and call out would cost £125 ....i drive a 2017 Aygo £90 for a tyre ???? Have never paid more than £60 before but as i said i was left with no choice. I received another call at 5.07pm to inform me that the driver wouldnt make it to me (2 miles away) until after 5.15pm so i would have to pay out of hours fee an extra £110 as i said they had me over a barrel i had bloods in the car for labs and further patients waiting on my call i paid the money. Young man arrived at 5.26pm to repair my tyre 11mins into their out of hour time ... .not 2am not 20 miles away no one had to leave their home or get out of bed . In fact the young man stopped with me on his way home. He had me back on the road for 5.40pm for which im very grateful and this is the reason for my one star ....however i felt completely ripped off i paid over the odds for an average tyre i paid 2 call out fees even though my inital call was during working hours and when i rang the next day the manager refused to speak as he was too busy with paperwork i asked for a call when he had time im still waiting ....if you find yourself stranded in balkykelly or surrounding areas ring a different company read more
