We were greeted immediately with a smile and seated to a nice table with a fresh flower arrangement. Nice touch. The coffee, in cute, mismatched mugs, is excellent! I ordered the chicken and waffles. Ask for the hot honey. The 2 thick waffles were very tasty, with a nice crunch. The chicken was a good size, moist, with a crunchy and FLAVORFUL breading. I also had an English muffin. Jams and butter in individual packets are provided. Hubby had the chicken fried steak, eggs, home fries and sourdough toast. He devoured his breakfast, as did I. Both members of the clean plate club. The staff, especially our waitress, Monique, were all smiling, engaged, and attentive. Clearly locals dine here as well. The decor is vibrant and fun, and inviting. And, as I always feel is important, the bathroom I used was clean! Located on Main Street amidst shops and other cafés, this wonderful eatery offers breakfast and lunch (at least). The shrimp (plump, perfectly cooked and plenty) is in a kind of dark cajun remoulade mixed with bacon and sauteed onions with multi colored bell peppers. Oh, and it has lettuce so you don't feel bad about eating it all in one sitting! :) Overall, I loved it! Bursting with flavor in every bite! Felt more like a Cajun shrimp Philly minus the cheese. Only if I was to be the one to name it of course! There is no such thing as a shrimp Philly though...yet!
