I love that KXPD broadcasts series that are no longer on the air. We live in an area that frequently has Severe Storm Warning notices broadcast during programs. EVERY OTHER channel manages to overlay those warnings on top of the episode in such a way that the warning can be turned off. either live or on DVR, by pressing the OK button on the remote. Why miss essential dialogue to listen to something that is days old and/or covers a totally different part of the state?? There is no reason whatsoever for the amateurish method of intruding on a broadcast show in such a way that the viewer cannot hear the dialogue - especially in a criminal investigation or an intelligent conversation about ...whatever! If other stations can do it, why not KPXD? This complaint is why I'm only giving 4 stars instead of 5...I do LOVE the shows they present to us!!
