Because my husband and I wanted to start investing, we went in for a simple consultation, hope to just get a simple answer like "with this investment, this is what you need to take care, this is how I can help you with and this is what I charge". After I asked the question what can you help us with, for more than 40 min, the owner just going on and on about how successful he is, how he doesn't need any of our businesses because he is so rich, and how the rest of the world is a disaster. Lawyers are dumb and he is the best. Instead of trying to win our business, he is hope is begging him for his service. His words are very insulting and very hurtful, such like "80% of the people in the world are dumb, and you belong to this 80%". He maybe a good accountant, but with this kind of attitude, I wonder what kind of people that do beg for his service. He might be independently wealthy, and don't care about getting new business, but as a business owner with employees, I can't imagine how this is beneficial to anyone.

Took them to task for the poor service, and then they refused to finish the filing wasting over 2 weeks of time with the deadline approaching. I have fired this company and will be taking my business elsewhere. They were told they would have bigger problems over this, which they responded to by threatening to file a police report (a report for what exactly, I don't know). I'm not sure how they treat their other clients, but I had an extremely bad experience.

I was in…read morea hurry to have my taxes done because I was trying to secure a rate lock on a home loan and my lender required my tax return (to use my rental property as income). I was told it would take 2-3 weeks to have my taxes completed, so that is what I expected. When I emailed my final tax documents over I asked to please forward my taxes back to me as soon as they are available and said why I was in a hurry for them. After 4 weeks I sent an email asking for an update of the status. I didn't hear back so after 6 more days, I sent an email asking someone to please respond to my previous message. Someone responded back later that day saying that my taxes were in the mail that day, which was good, but it took 5 weeks total. Interest rates are climbing quickly right now and this also delayed me in being able to start looking. It was frustrating. When I received my invoice, the cost had gone up by 28.5% from last year, which no one had previously mentioned to me. It doesn't feel good to pay more for a lesser quality experience. I emailed them last week after receiving the invoice to let them know how I felt and even outright asked them to consider discounting the cost and didn't get a response. I paid the invoice today, so that I could post my review. Will never go back!

Beware! I had an appt to meet for 2025 taxes. No one there. No notice. Next day or so spoke with…read moreoffice, rescheduled, some personal issue on Stephen's part (with no notice to clients and/or staff). Since I was kind of stuck I tried again and met with Stephens. I submitted Rita and paid Rita. I paid IRS via voucher. Stephens was to submit IRS and Ohio taxes electronically. I am due a refund from Ohio. Weeks went by. No refund rec'd. Called office, answering person said "Oops, we forgot to call you we need..." I had submitted that info on their secure email but sent again. Called 5 weeks later and spoke with Stephen, the accountant, he confirmed it was actually sent in (call on5/5/26). Still no refund. CAlled Ohio tax agency, they confirmed they have received nothing. Calling Stephens tax office trying to get the confirmation number IRS and Ohio were submitted...no answer. Now I am trying to call IRS to see if the 1040 was ever submitted and this is my worst nightmare. I have never encountered this level of sloppiness ie misconduct.
