WACA has taken great care of my father. Finding reliable live-in caregivers can be difficult. We truly appreciate their support.

Claire did an excellent job supporting me through some lingering injury recovery that another PT…read morewas unable to diagnose or solve. After a few sessions I feel much better equipped to handle my reentry into sports and hobbies that I love.

It was a cold Saturday morning in February and I was cutting it close to get to spin class. I…read moreparked and sprinted the two blocks to the studio and the frigid air hit my exposed calves below my 3/4 length workout pants like a brick. Didn't think anything about it until I felt a tug in my right calf within the first two minutes of spin class. I let it heal for several weeks but it never quite felt right. For months, I had a nagging tightness. Not pain, but lingering soreness. Stay with me here. I re-tore my ACL on my left knee a few years ago and opted not to have surgery again. For the most part, It's fine because I "retired" from the sport that caused the injury, but it's occasionally wobbly and my knee randomly pops out of place. So I decided to do what I should have done years ago and go to physical therapy to work on strengthening the muscles around the knee. Hope you're still with me, just trying to set the stage for why Rose Physical Therapy is amazing. I'd met the husband of the owner at a Yelp event and he mentioned that his wife has a physical therapy business. Looked up the business later and saw that it had solid positive reviews. Also saw their business cards at Pacers Running and the employee also had good feedback. I made an appointment at Rose and was assigned to Laura based on my symptoms and her specialties. The DuPont office is bright, clean and modern. It sounds weird to comment about the aesthetics, but it really contributes to the experience and my comfort level. Laura is amazing--she takes the time to listen to where I'm having issues, especially during our initial session. Highly recommend! While I thought only my knee needed work, I mentioned where I continued to have calf tightness and she took a look. She explained where the muscles around an injury can lock up and if not loosened up, stay tight even when the original strain heals. During sessions, she works on those tightened muscles with some kind of sculpting tool, does dry needling to release some of the knotted, triggered areas, and then we do a series of exercises to build up strength and stability. I need to be better about doing the exercises at home to help speed along my recovery, but from the office visits alone, my problem areas are improving and I'm so glad I finally made that first appointment to get started. If you've got a nagging issue that you've been putting off addressing, go to Rose and get yourself right!

Ms. Jones came to my mother's home and conducted a comprehensive evaluation of my mother's abilities and needs after a series of my mother's health emergencies. Ms. Jones was observant, compassionate, and very helpful in setting up a plan for scheduling in-home care. She gained my mother's trust which was an important step. A combination of my mother's improved condition, along with a family decision to ultimately limit the amount of care my mother needed, led us to eventually choose another path for the time being. Ms. Jones was more than understanding of our situation, and offered very helpful advice that guided our way forward. As my mother's needs evolve in the future, I can say that we would definitely seek the services of Envisage Care again. Thanks to Ms. Jones and all at Envisage who were so supportive of us during this difficult period. - Michael Lawrence Washington, DC

She contacted me right away on a Saturday night and took the time to listen to my needs for extended care for an elderly relative. By the next day not only was she working on a plan to make this happen, she provided me with other relevant referrals and resources I would need for a smooth transition. As it turned out, we did not end up needing the services at this time as another family member will be resuming care. But I have no doubt we would have been delighted with this partnership and should circumstances change, I know I will call Envisage Care immediately.

I won't forget it nor should I they crossed a serious line e just recently by talking to my financial representative about me of which she just told me today. And I paid for this! They don't like self advocacy and don't understand their patients at all. So shut up and do as they say only!! it's Sad really. ...Damn Sad. Karma waits for no one. I've had mine and it's been extremely painful. DONT go with Corewood Care. I was a Nurse before my CVA and I learned more from my patients than I gave. At Corewood they really need to learn from others not huddle in a corporate scrum. So be warned... or if you have been struggling with your care. get out now!! Be Best....
