He swapped out my equipment and got me seamlessly reconnected, plus he was actually able to get a work order scheduled to bury a line that had been left laying on the surface of my yard for over 2 years. They will not prorate your bill if you move out mid billing cycle, yet they can effortlessly increase the amount you're charged month on month. Absolutely the worst. You might be stuck using them, depending on where you live, but keep a careful watch. I canceled my service in the month of May, then returned the modem equipment on time a few weeks later. The in-person office took the modem, printed out a receipt, and said all was well and paid in full. In August, two months later, I receive a call from a collection agency for a remaining fee (not the modem). I still don't understand the fee, but I paid always through my bank account with autopay, so even if I did owe, they should have taken it out of my bank. They never even emailed me or phoned or sent a letter to ask for this small payment, which contradicted what I was told in person. Horrifying. STAY ALERT. I signed a business contract in August 2023 for internet service. My business closed down in September 2024, so I went to cancel service. I am a single mother, of four, and a tornado destroyed my entire city, causing massive job loss and multiple businesses to close. Vyve has said that I am liable for the remaining 11 months on a 24 month contract for a business that isn't even open anymore to the tune of over $1100. They warned me the infrastructure would take time to build and get everything up to speed. this took around 4 months. the internet was intermittent at best. I would give them no stars or even negative stars. They are truly a worthless useless species of a company. The service is intermittent and when the power goes off, they're off too because the back up generator doesn't work. Last year, I had a problem with the mainline that services the pedestal at the end of my driveway. The guy came out and sat in his truck for a very long time then finally ran a new line out to another pole, about 100 yards away and left it above ground. It stayed there for months and finally got mowed and cut in a million pieces. It was replaced on top of the ground of course. I called them and called to get it buried - no response. They would say" oh we'll get it in two months" The so called pat answer. Liars. I finally dealt with some VPs that got the ball rolling. I was originally on a plan that increased $10 a year until it didn't. That ended this year. It should not have. Complaining about that did no good. So in May after an initial increase in my service rate the month before, it went up again because they arbitrarily put me on a 200 meg service that I did not order! Complaining did no good. I voted with my feet and left this bunch of convicts. So all I can tell you is this a sorry sorry sorry company. I can only wish them the worst. I'm thankfully with another company now and I hope it works better. Every six to eight weeks Vyve Broadband in Shawnee, OK, cuts my upload speed in half to 15Mbps from 30Mbps. I have to haggle on the phone with them to get them to fix the issue. They want me to PAY extra for a service technician to come out and look at my equipment which is in perfect working condition. The last two times they were contacted about this issue they scheduled a tech visit. The evening before the scheduled tech visit is to take place, the upload speed magically returns to the 30Mbps it is supposed to be at in my Internet-only package. So I canceled the tech visit to avoid the charges. Sounds like a SCAM to me. Every time I have to call them about this issue they play dumb once again. If I had any other high-speed choice available where I live I would dump them in a heartbeat. read more

If I could give it no stars I would. We've had Vyve for a little over two months and it has been ridiculous. It took us forever to get an installation (over 3 weeks). We finally got WiFi yay right? No, POS install (see photos). They left fiber wires all out and they are STILL sitting on our lawn like it's not a safety hazard. I've called multiple times to get this fixed and have been given the run around each time. It's been well over a month with those wires out. We don't have WiFi now as I type this due to them coming out doing work in the neighborhood and cutting our lines. If I could never use Vyve again, I would but somehow they are the only provider out here so people have to use this POS company. I do not even know where to begin with this review. I will preface by saying, having spent 20 years in IT from being an enginner up to being Head of IT Production, I do sincerely try to understand and relate to technology providers. Having said that the service (both customer and functional), or lack there of, that I receive from Vyve Broadband is the worst that I have experienced in my entire life inclduing my career. Let's start with the customer service and business approach. I acknowledge that I live in a rural area and I understand they can not offer my fiber/GB to the desktop within the same pricing, etc. that I received when living in a larger area previously. However, the service I receive is orverpriced. They have a monoply in this area as they are the only ISP (minus one satellite provider) that provides high speed service. Therefore they charge whatever they want b/c customers have no chocie. Secondly, they lack business ethics. Example: During this time of global pandemic they are choosing to make additional money by continuinig to charge people for data overages. Compare this approach versus the approach of my wireless carrier who has added 15GB of hotpsot data (without me asking) b/c they know and understand these are extra ordinary times. Now let's look at the actual service. I have on average at least one outage a month. I'm not talking about the standard 5 minute disrption where a simple modem reboot/reset restores service. I'm taking about an hour or more where the problem is clearly on their side of the service. We receive no communication no updates. Some of these outages are hours. The most recent example was a 23 hour outage. Again, as a technical person, I understand they were impacted due to a larger problem with a Tier 1 (maybe Tier 2) provider upstream. However, we received basically no information or updates. We got 3 updates but they were hours apart and contained no information. This was during a time when many customers were relying on this service to work from home, attend school from home, etc. I was fortuante enough to be able to use my phone as a hotspot and worked off of that all day. If I had not had this option I would have been forced to take a personal day off. Four days later, I had another outage that lasted about 6 hours. No information or update at all was provdied on this one. Through all of this, I have received no credits. I have not been able to get Vyve to answer my questions. They will not provide me with the SLA's of their residential service. This company is ineffective in their delivery of service. They are uncaring and unwilling to understand their customers. They refuse to change their operating model b/c they know they have zero competetion. Hopefully this review reaches people and has some sort of impact. read more

When I moved to the West Coast we converted our residence to an Airbnb in the midwest. They converted our account to a business account without explaining all the catches. It's a 36 Month Contract detailed in the fine print which they failed to explain. Brad Montgomery kept referring to the audio call in which I ordered the service. I finally agreed to listen to his recording and the service representative did confirm I wanted a commercial account but failed to tell me it was a 36 month contract opposed to the residential year contract and did not explain that my cable package would be most expensive for significantly less channels. We basically receive the 10 local channels that I could get with just a digital aneta that can be picked up at any Wal-Mart.
