History

Established in 2014.

'Rocket Bus' is a 1972 Dormobile VW Camper. She has been in the family for 6 years and we have spent over 20k getting her to look and perform as she does. She has been completely restored from a bare metal rebuild. Trying to keep her as VW intend and as original as possible with a couple of sneaky upgrades. We use her a lot and with this in mind she had to remain functional as well as turning heads. Adding a bit of the 21st Century to a timeless classic was an art. We used various restoration heros to get her to how we wanted her to be. She has had a new 2.1 litre engine and custom gear box build pulling 124bhp at 4000rpm. New brake system, steering rebuild, dropped and running air suspension we have combined performance with comfort and she drives perfectly. With Porsche 911 seats in the front and a custom made interior reupholstered in the finest of materials this is not your usual Camper. We also have a propex heating system meaning your toes won't freeze on your special day.

Awful service. Basically tell you when they will take you and if its inconvenient, it doesn't…read morematter. If you company has pre-booked, then they will cancel and pocket half of the fee. The dispatcher was completely unsympathetic - it was clear they were booking according to how their drivers could get more runs in rather than the actual convenience of the customer. I was not impressed with this service and will not use them again.

AWFUL experience with this company, They are friendly and great until they take your money! Our…read moredriver on the way to the airport seemed so tired which is not what you want for someone to be driving you to the airport! The Journey home was the worst experience. Driver was over an hour late picking us up, (not what you need after a night flight) He then proceeded to spill his coffee while banging our bags on the trolley into the walls. He was on the phone most of the journey back (when I emailed afterwards the office staff told me he probably wasn't on his phone and was on his PDA, we were in the car with him and could clearly see what he was doing!!) he was driving so erratic that I had to hold my daughters head back as he was breaking so hard and switching lanes dangerously, seemed he was in a rush to get us back. Once home I emailed the staff of all my grievances and they didn't care one bit. No money was refunded for our traumatic journey, not even a Sorry! They don't care as they have over £400 of our money though! Disgusting awful people to deal with. Highly recommend using someone else for your travels! Wouldn't have even given one star but unfortunately had to.
