A mate and I stumbled across the club on the way home one night in September 2014. We were in Argentina for the World Golden Oldies Rugby. What a great place, the best spirits and the finest Cuban Cigars. The were very pleasant and as we could not speak Spanish that did not matter, the English they spoke was fantastic and we all got along very well. My mate and I visited the Social Club on 3 other occasions and each time was a fantastic experience. If you get a chance, go in and check it out. read more

Vuelta Abajo nació como tabaquería en julio del año 2005, en el corazón neurálgico del barrio de Belgrano. Un proyecto ambicioso que fue dando sus frutos con el transcurrir del tiempo. Comercializando puros de distintos orígenes, tabacos para pipa, bebidas y accesorios para el fumador, el equipo de Vuelta Abajo fue desarrollando su enorme potencial en el mercado, logrando que sus clientes puedan tener al alcance de sus manos todas aquellas vitolas lanzadas por Habanos S.A. y otros artículos dedicados al fumador. Con el tiempo logro ampliarse y brindar a sus clientes un exclusivo salón fumador, servicio de bar y de lockers para guarda de puros; y compartió con ellos catas de habanos y bebidas con torcedores del ámbito. Con nuevos objetivos seguimos adelante, esperando crecer junto a ustedes, acompañándolos en este camino que denota los placeres que hacen de cada momento de la vida un recuerdo inolvidable. Puro Argentino! This place is a good spot to stop in and…read moregrab a bunch of swag for back home- Argintine magnets, mate cups, little flags- this place has it all, and at a fraction of the price of all the I Heart Gift places around. You can be sure that these guys are local. It's located in a small store along Florida Street, which is a semi-shady shopping district with lots of souvenier shops like this one. The staff was friendly and eager to make a sale. The shop was a bit crowded, but had lots of inventory. Be sure to check out the Mate sets- thermoses, cups, tea holders all in a snappy leather holder! Cool! This place had inventory that other places didn't, and a wide variety of refrigerator magnets to make any kitchen look like a Porteno's! They have lots of things that say "Tango" and depictions of the Obelisk Everything is negotiable here. Haggle!
