I first contacted them to perform core aeration and overseeding to a very tired lawn in the front and back of my house. I have to say, my lawn seems much more durable and the feeling of the grass under my feet is like carpeting! Since they did such a great job with that, I decided to consult them for some work I had been wanting to do in both my front and back yards. So, I contacted Matt Palin about the construction of a curved walkway leading from my front landing to my driveway and a small patio in the back yard to include a firepit. I also asked about redoing my flower beds. Again, my experience and communication with Proscape was excellent! Matt worked with me on the design and helped to pick out the pavers and even let me reuse the stones from my old firepit which already matched nicely with the pavers we selected. When the team came to my house to begin working, they greeted me, and the foreman on the job introduced himself to me. Half of the team got to work right away demolishing my old straight and broken concrete walkway, and the other half started to plot out the patio in the back yard. The account manager stopped by not long after the crew to ensure that I understood the process and when the entire job would be completed. He reviewed the work that was to be done and asked if I had any questions or concerns. I took the opportunity to ask if they could evaluate my landing and front steps because both were made out of concrete and the stairs had sunk and the top pad of the landing had broken in the back right corner. Proscape sent out their engineer a few days later to evaluate and we worked out a plan to fix the damage and upgrade my steps and landing with bluestone and stone veneer. I was beyond excited to see how this was all going to come together! I was hit with quite a shock when the workers removed the old aluminum columns that were holding up the roof above my landing. They had braced my roof before removing the columns and breaking up the old landing, and it was a good thing they did, because when they removed the columns, the foreman called me over to show me that they were hollow, and there was effectively nothing truly holding up the roof over the landing! Normally there would have at least been one support going from the load bearing corner of the roof down through the landing and into the ground on a footing. There was NOTHING! Yikes! The foreman also showed me that the right side of the roof was starting to buckle from the pressure and that's likely what caused the crack in the stop slab and the sinking of the front steps. They went to work right away and constructed a stone column with rebar reinforcement from the roof through the slab and into the ground so that the roof was fully supported. The foreman told me there was almost a 3-inch difference from one side of the landing to the other! That's how much everything had sunk...wow! When the top slab was finally complete the foreman showed me that it was totally level. They leveled the stairs, clad the entire landing and stairs with stone and placed bluestone caps on the top and on each stair and cheek-walsl (which was an added surprise!). Anyway...I went from a drab, concrete walkway, broken landing, sunken front steps, unappealing back yard, and rectangular flowerbeds to beautifully curved-edge flowerbeds, wide curving walkway, large stone-clad bluestone topped landing and steps, and an expanded entertainment space with firepit in the back yard. They are coming back to do a little more work for me because I want my side stairs to match my front stairs and I need some help with a small retaining wall. :) If you need any kind of landscape/hardscape work done, I strongly encourage you to contact Proscape's professional, skilled, and reliable team. One of my huge beautiful pine trees had a fungal infection. He explained to me that the best way to keep the tree healthy was to spray it. SavATree emailed me with what needed to be done and listed the price. I felt confident because I could tell this company is a legitimate, "stand-up" type of business. I received an email that gave me a day/date and approximate time of when SavATree would be coming out to treat the tree. This company gave me SUPER / OUTSTANDING service. The tree was sprayed, and I'm optimistic that I do not have to have the tree taken down. I'm an older woman who lives in a nice area. My house is 76 years old. Many of the houses located near me are recently built, and they are large, expensive homes. I get tired of these companies that quote ridiculously high prices because of the neighborhood. Alex did not do this. By the way, the form Alex completed lists date/time he arrived and what was used on the tree. He also signed the form, wrote thank you, and added a smiley face. SavATree purchased Kaiser Tree Preservation whom we had used every few years to trim the many trees on our property. With pools in both neighbors yards, they have requested when we trim our trees, to cut back the bits that over hang their pools. I am happy to do this, and Kaiser never batted an eye lash at the request. SavATree sent their representative out to learn the scope of work we wanted done. We were repeatedly told by this representative when discussing what we wanted done 'don't worry about that' and 'you don't want to do that' and 'don't worry about the neighbors'. We received a price quote for the work the representative wanted done and none of the work we had requested. As I have to live here, I do in fact try to be a good neighbor and my trees have been trimmed the same way for over a decade without harming them. SaveATree assigns representatives to an 'area', so I am not able to get a new quote from them for the work I want. It's sad because I really liked working with Kaiser and their 'tree preservation' business model. Now I have to begin my search for a new tree service provider that actually cares about the health of my trees. Not an easy find.

After calling several other places and never getting calls back I gave these guys a call and they were happy to come out. The gave a quick estimate which was very reasonable. My boyfriend called them back to approve the work and they were understandably booked out a couple weeks. A couple days later they called to tell my boyfriend that he had estimated just a bit too high. I was really impressed as I had already approved a higher amount, but they were honest enough to correct the price in my favor. Although they said we would be a couple weeks out, they happened to find some time in between much sooner and squeezed me in. 4 guys showed up and quickly took down the branches and cleaned my entire yard. I got home just as they had finished. I have had communication troubles and language barriers with previous companies, making it harder to communicate what I wanted and ask questions. Not the case with these guys. They walked me through everything they did and were happy to answer some of our questions about part of our yard. They came back a second time at my request to do a tick treatment on my yard, spray some poison ivy and mow. As expected, they did a fantastic job! My intention was to have them come in for a twice a year cleanup, but I am having them back on a bi weekly basis for general maintenance because they really did impress me. He Stopped over within hours and spent 30 minutes walking around my yard listening to my needs and then returned a few days later till solidify plans gave me a great quote and started work within another few days. Very knowledgeable about bushes and trees etc, offers sound suggestions, and he/crew clean up everything each day. Very professional, timely and did not ask for any money before work began.
