Also they make funny jokes sometimes that makes everybody in the pews laugh. Also there is always singers and musicians in the back and they are very good. They also have a school and they host events such as breakfasts and vigils. I recommend this parish all are welcome to attend mass too.

Father Tom remembered our loved one with grace and humor, interjecting a little levity at appropriate moments. We knew our family member had remarked that Father Tom was his favorite priest, and now we all understand why. It takes a gentle man to lift a family out of grief, reminding that death is merely the end of one journey; Father Tom did just that. He collectively comforted, paid proper respect to our family and provided a transition for us all. Thank you, Father Tom. Ms. Amy Brown is a class act. I cannot say enough about her commitment, kindness and knowledge. We were lost until we stumbled into her guiding hands. She ultimately navigated us through a difficult week. Amy helped us say goodbye, but more importantly, encouraged us to share who our loved one was, and allowed us a great amount of flexibility and time to "get every detail just right." We are truly grateful to you, Amy. You were wonderful. Thank you from the family of Ernie Schiefer.

I have been going to this church since I was an infant. I was baptized here, and many of my…read morerelatives were married here, including my parents. I got confirmed somewhere else, however. Also I attended Sunday School too and made lots of friends that I still know today. I also learned a lot about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I am now in my late teens and I still go to Sunday mass with my family mostly every Sunday. Also at Sunday school they would cook lunch for us and play games after all the classes were done. The food and classes was all free too. They still do that I think. It is an awesome parish.

A few months ago, my friend held her wedding mass at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church. The Catholic…read moreceremony was solemn and dignified, serving to tie the newlyweds together. It was delivered mostly in Vietnamese, with sections in English, if I remember correctly. I believe Sunday services are held in multiple languages, including Spanish. I'm not a terribly religious person, but spending my morning at the church was fascinating. Observing and photographing, I had the opportunity to take in their impressive decor, statues, and stained glass windows. There's seating for dozens of parishioners. (There were folks in the back praying, who were obviously not wedding guests, but the church wasn't SO full that it was odd, apparently.) If you're near Reading and looking for a place to worship or get married, consider St. Paul's.

The other being the OBGYN speach we where given for this business advertisement. Mass on Mother's day is not the time or place to allow this sort of thing! We have a new Pope! The Mass should have been more focused on peace in Ukraine and in Gaza and India and Pakastan. We also felt the Euchrist was a bit rushed through. Otherwise, it's a nice church and nice parishioners!

My husband and I attended the church a few months ago. I and…read moremy husband was very disappointed; '' he speaks well but he began and droned on for about 45 minutes about being concerned for his health and being afraid that he may have a disease. I was thinking when is he going to begin preaching and teaching about the Bible instead of focusing on himself. About 10 minutes before the service was to end he did bring up a few Old Testment verses and talking about Elijah the prophet. Yes, he is a very good speaker but his knowledge of the Bible and teaching is very poor and as a pastor he should know better. Perhaps he should attend a good seminary online, i.e. Westminster Theological Seminary or another good seminary online to develop as a teacher and shepherd; he is not teaching his people well or being a good shepherd.

This church, my 2nd home is comforting, caring, helpful and has changed my life on so many levels. Josh Ott is by far one of the best speakers in this county. He is real, puts a human touch on all sermons, Never boring, not pushy, when you leave you question if he was talking to you alone. That's how he makes you feel, you can learn more about how God wants us to live, how to be a better person, and how to handle your life. No one has left on a Sunday and said, I didn't get anything out of that, NO ONE! The best decision of my life was to walk in those doors six years ago, walk in them, you will come back.
