From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by friendly, knowledgeable staff -- both of whom spoke our native language, which was a huge comfort. Max took the time to assess her injury and fit her with exactly what she needed. Interestingly, what we initially thought she needed wasn't what was recommended -- and it turned out to be the perfect solution. This is a large store near Leidseplein. I've shopped here for over 7 years, since it's near the Marriott and now not too far from my home. There are a lot of these Etos stores in the Netherlands, but they aren't all equal. This is very large and lots of space. Staff was friendly and there are two self-checkout kiosks. They had everything I Was looking for today and I even bought new slippers for the winter!

Being that they are a chain probably run by a corporation, each store is probably set up demographically. In other words some stores carry certain products while others don't. The store in my neighborhood doesn't carry what I was looking for but another store in a different area does. Since this particular store doesn't carry what I was looking for they also are unable to order it because it's an item they don't regularly carry. Regardless, they have a large selection of most things you might need at good prices.

I go to Kruidvat when I am looking for random health or beauty supply items. If your traveling then Kruidvat is where you would like to stop in to pick up your toiletry/hygiene, health or beauty supplies.
