When I first made my review on Glow Salon, it was a couple of hours after my manicure at this place. In order for my polish not to smudge, the lady applied oil on each nail to prevent possible smudging since my nails were not completely dry. The glossiness of the oil made the nails look perfect and masked the problems I found later when the deceiving oil was washed off. The problem: I asked my nails to be 'roundish-square'. Some nails were roundish-square, others were round, and some were filed slanted. Even my hubby noticed the poor filing job. Also, my cuticles were not completely pushed back, or trimmed properly. I don't think I'll come back here again. I'm better off giving myself a manicure. *NOTE* The owner of this salon emailed me after reading the review above and offered me a free manicure to make things up. I thought that this was very kind and the establishment really cares about its customers.

The polish wasn't even applied all the way up to my cuticles, two days later it looked like I needed a refill. Eugenia isn't the brightest, her website (eudeniasosa.com) might have HER contact information, but the rest of the information is for Montero Plumbing because instead of creating her own website she just copied the other website's code and filled in the contact info but the rest of the website is about plumbing services... All in all, the manicurist was nice, she was from Cuba and was all smiles, the owner just wasn't impressive, I felt very mislead before purchasing the deal, last minute there are only 5 colors? The decor is clean and modern but the staff is super friendly and the owner brings in her two small dogs. As a dog lover, I approve. They have an espresso machine so they'll offer you anything you'd like on the house...you can tell the place has a good reputation in the area because I was there for two days in a row and every time there were customers chatting it up with the staff so you know they were return customers. Andrea is sweet, a perfectionist and really wants to make sure you're happy with what you paid for. She only uses CDN products (same company that does shellac) and she won't charge extra for using these high end products. I've had manicures where I've been cut with their little cuticle scissors or times where my pedicure was painful because of the blade thing they use to take off the hardened skin of your foot but not with Andrea. She is so meticulous and she loves what she does. It really shows through her work. She even gave me her card with a 5$ discount for my next mani or pedi with her. Honestly if you're going to get a mani or pedi done go to Larousse and ask for Andrea, you won't be disappointed.
