Vivo is retarded. Like most phone companies in Brazil.
As a travel you must buy a prepaid chip. You get a little card that has a number that you use to add credit to this. That works fairy well. However if you have to recharge online or by phone, you must be fluente in Portuguese or they will charge you in dollars with an exchange of about 1.2! That's $15 for R$25. Haha wow!
Futhermore, once you buy it. You start getting dozens of solicitations via text that's all in Portuguese and confusing to even native speakers. Once you decipher this system, you're except for that your 75mb of data costs more and lauds about as long as 40mb on Claro?
So you'll be running g out of data regularly and having to add more almost hourly! Which of your don't do it quickly, you'll have no data for an hour.
When I went to the store to buy a new card, they gave me a number! So I was expected to wait for 31 people with various problems to simply buy a recharge card. That is ridiculous. Talk about no respect for a customers time!
I am leaving to another company. Wish me luck! These criminals are in with the government here. So I don't expect much difference. read more
