Absolutely horrible salon!!! First she only trimmed a couple inches off, didn't have her shampoo or…read morestyle and i was charged $30. But not only that she botched my hair. It is so incredibly uneven and not to mention choppy looking and she put layers in my hair but absolutely none in the back of my head (she didnt even show me the back like they normally do after a cut and honestly I didn't even think about it and the front looked good so I assumed the back would too). I told her I needed it done before I left out of town well when I got back first thing i did was call them to set up a time for it to just be fixed and the lady ahshley was incredibly rude. Trying to tell me it was breakage, no lady The picture show it and not how breakage works. To fix she wanted me to pay her another $30. Will never go back! I've used them 2x and both times have been a nightmare. First one I got it colored and it was NOTHING, not even close to what I wanted but I had been sitting there for 4 hrs already, and it was just a color and supposed to be a balayage which again wasn't even close so I left butter and told the lady that she needed to fix my hair so I came back in and she put only a couple more highlights cause I told her it was too dark, still not what I wanted but at that point I wasn't going to let her mess up my hair even more. I went to leave and she charged me for a full highlight even though she put in maybe 4. Ended up cost me $140 for something i could have done better myself at home and would have to pay someone else to fix. So decided I would ever go back. Well, heard that girl left so figured I would try it again and this was my experience. Cost cutters is a way better option than them. Incredibly overpriced, unskilled stylist that cant cur hair nor woll listen to what you want. You can expain in detail what you want and then they give you something entirly different and very very plain that still looks horribe, super unprofessional, and beside the girl Clair not very welcoming. *Oh the girl that cut my hair was Chelsea. ** almost forgot my sons dad took my son their for his first hair cut of which I was already nervous about. I didn't pick the place FYI, his grandma goes there for her hair and she set it up. Anyway showed the girl like 4 or 5 pictures and was very clear on what I wanted, least I thought and she was going great, short in the back and longer in the front and I was loving it! Until the end when he went back to the front, I thought she was done up there as it looked great but went ahead and chopped it all off, his hair was so incredibly short and not a really good style. I was disappointed but she was so nice that it wasn't a big deal, it will grow and for what she did it was a good haircut, just not what I wanted. I'm thinking maybe she wasn't really thinking about it at the end bc were all talking and sometimes that can happen. I add this bc just bc it reiterates my point that they all seem to do what they want to do and not what the client who pays you wants. ‍

In March my husband scheduled appointments for a massage, manicure, and pedicure at the Element…read moreSalon & Spa for my birthday gift. He paid for the services via a credit card over the phone with the business owner Heather, with the agreed-upon appointment date of May 19 at 10 AM, just in time for our family vacation. Friday May 11th, I was contacted by an employee and asked to reschedule, but no times I had available would work with their schedule. At that time, I asked if I could just receive a refund for the services and could find elsewhere to go. She said she would see if things could be moved around and they could still get me in and she would get back to me. Four days later, May 15th, 4 days prior to services being rendered, I was contacted by an employee and told there was a wedding party of 10 and they could not fit me in. I again asked for a refund because this appointment was set almost 2 months ago, specifically for our vacation; to which the employee told me that gift certificates were non-refundable per their store policy. (Wait...what...gift certificate..we didn't purchase a gift certificate??) I asked to speak with the manager and was told Heather would have to call me back. About an hour later, Heather called me back. I again requested for a refund because no available time would work to reschedule. Heather denied a refund stating the store policy was that gift certificates are non-refundable and I had a year to use this gift certificate, which I do not possess because I was never issued a gift certificate... my husband scheduled appointments and prepaid for services...not a gift certificate. The conversation ended abruptly and I was so upset I called my husband to tell him what had transpired. My husband contacted Heather shortly after I got off the phone with him to see if he would be able to remedy the situation. After asking multiple times for a refund to be issued because the agreed upon services could not be provided at the agreed upon times, he was told by Heather that she could mail him a gift certificate and I have a year to use the gift certificate. Again, pre-paying for services to be rendered at a future date is not a gift certificate, no gift certificate was ever mentioned or issued when the appointments were made. He replied that after what has transpired, he didn't feel like this was going to be a good fit and the only thing that would remedy this situation would be a refund. Heather then suggested we could try to sell the gift certificate on eBay. I am completely disgusted by the level of customer service we have received from the element salon and will not ever recommend it to anyone.
