But be warned, this is not a show, it's a church home. The congregation is warm and inviting, but not overwhelming. Super friendly, and very approachable. Small to medium congregation. The church format is humble - promoting the unity of a team versus holding one to esteem. The elders are informative and care deeply about bible instruction and the direction of the church, along with the motives that lead there. They are frugal with the churches finances, placing a high priority on funds going into ministry programs rather than perk pay, and expensive equipment - which is a testament to the brothers and sisters you will find here - and also why you will not be hounded with offering sermons, tithes, or guilt trips. I must say, coming from a big church, I was a bit weirded out by the acapella music. But once you experience the harmony as some ebb while others flow, you will wonder why you ever liked it being drowned out by guitars, drums, or piano. Honestly, I can't say enough about them! :) The are a true vision of what church is supposed to be.

It's an pretty big church with great people, great pastors, great service, great encouraging music, great church groups and God. Every service I go to, I always get greeted by their volunteers. They're super nice. I even got to say hello to some of the pastors I've met over the years. During the earlier time at YLFC, Phil Hotsenpiller (Teaching Pastor) was one of the pastor during the main service. Great guy, but he's no longer at this church. Now, it's Matthew Cork (Long time Lead Pastor) and Chris Ward (Teaching Pastor) are preaching at the main service. They're an great pastors and always give us the words of encouragement. If you haven't been to this church, you must go to YLFC for their service. I was also involved in the College Group years ago on Tuesday night. I've made great friends at this group. I don't know where are they now, but I do see Aaron (former College Group Pastor) once in a while. Amazing guy he is. I will try to give involved in a church group again soon.
