First the agent claimed that this job was a part time job as she was retired and didn't really need the money. This was the first sign that we should have taken into consideration. What she really meant was that she would do the least amount of work she had to in order to get a commission. As a sellers agent you would think that she would be proactive in finding buyers and showing our home. Instead we got an agent that was totally passive, disengaged and unorganized. She made little to no effort to show our house; was awful at coordinating inspections; and did the least amount of work possible. Although we did sell our house the process was painful and awful. Thank god we moved to the other side of the country to get as algae away from this experience as possible. If we could leave a - we would. Sloppy. Lazy. Disconnected.
