This gallery is truly a gem of the West Island. Beautiful art that is local, national and international can be found here and the owner is very enjoyable to talk to. If you ever get a chance go to a vernissage where you get to socialize, look at art and have free food and wine. Ohh and they have courses for adults and kids alike as well. read more

Viva Vida Art Gallery and Art Centre was established in 2009 by owner Nedia El Khouri.

Meet the Business Owner: Nedia K.

Nedia El Khouri is a graduate of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD University) as well as has received her Master's of Art in Art education from the Boston Universty. She has curated a number of contemporary art exhibitions and is the creative force behind Viva Vida's many educational programs. Combining a love of the arts and community has been a dream come true. Drawing on her Brazilian roots, Nedia El Khouri named her Gallery and Art Centre Viva Vida, which means "to celebrate or live life" through art!
