Try as I may, I desperately tried to capture images of all the restaurants and food where we ate in Mexico, and unfortunately at a few places my phone was not fully charged. This place was one of those, and I could have taken a snapshot of a delicious wood fired crust pizza, but all I can say is that it was delicious. This place was conveniently located next to our hotel, and the smell invited me in. Need I say more? My husband and I weren't too hungry and a combo pizza sounded best.
We arrived maybe a half hour before they closed, but still waited about ten minutes for service. It was pretty busy, so I could understand. In the meantime, and I don't know if this was complimentary because we had been waiting buy we were offered a small glass of shrimp juice and/or chicken broth with rice. I know from experience and growing up coming to Mexico that some of the best restaurants offered broth something like this seafood or chicken broth as an aperitif before the main meal came. It is often complimentary for customers who are patiently waiting for their meals. I would have enjoyed coming back to try some of their pasta, and will have to make it a point to visit this or another location. read more
