The Vitromusee is a Stained Glass museum located in the Romont Chateau. For 10 CHF you can visit the museum's permanent exhibitions of stained glass and reverse painting on glass. You will need to deposit any purses or bags into a locker and take the key (no additional charge). There are no photos allowed in the museum, and if you want to take a break there is a small cafe serving coffee/tea near the entrance. The museum is laid out well and there are English walking guides and signs in English throughout the museum. It was interesting to see the evolution of stained glass through time and the art of reverse painting on glass. If I found it interesting, an art lover would find it fascinating. A bonus is that you also get to appreciate some of the architecture of the inside of the castle as you walk through the different exhibit rooms. read more
