I had a pedicure at Sea Escape Spa recently. I was able to book online which was super easy. They…read morethen confirmed my appointment by phone and email which was nice. The pedicure was great and the girls were all friendly and chatty. The spa is very new and is a beautiful space. The location is good if you are staying in the area but parking could be a problem in the summer time. Everything seemed very clean and they actually gave me the nail file to take home which was a nice touch. The only negatives were the price and the colour selection. They charge $65 for a pedicure and when you include tax and a tip it gets up to around the $80 mark. Although to be fair anywhere I've been in Penticton that is cheaper hasn't been as good. They also only had about 10 or so polish colours to choose from but I imagine this will improve with time. Overall, I enjoyed it and I'd recommend it if the price doesn't bother you.

In other words, it's…read more the same brand, but it's teensy weensy and you aren't completely sure it'll get you to your destination. This Whole Foods is a health food store, not a gourmet store; it's smaller than the smallest Whole Foods in Vancouver, which means it's less than a quarter the size of a "real" Whole Foods. If you're looking for a few specialty items that you can't get anywhere else, you may be in luck. There's a huge selection of vitamins, a good assortment of gluten-free and other specialty health food-type ingredients, and a very large bulk food department. What you won't find are the goodies that make the full-size Whole Foods so tempting, and so dangerous. Very few preprepared foods, and no salad bar. A very modest selection of cheese and meats. A selection of baked goods commendable mainly for offering wheat-free options. A couple of aisles' worth of boxed and canned goods. And one more note: we accidentally bought milk that was 3 days past its expiration date. So do check the dates on all purchases before hitting checkout.

I'm pretty disappointed in my recent experience with Peaches. Not the actual visit, but my…read moreexperience after. I went in for a bra fitting and ended up leaving with two bras. Upon getting home, and trying again, I realized one was too big. I thought, no big deal, I'll just bring it back and exchange for a different one but thought to check the receipt first. I then noticed that it said due to covid, no exchanges or returns would be allowed. I messaged them to clarify since it had only been a couple days and they basically said it was my fault as "so and so asked how things were" and "We always ask you to check your fit before you leave to make sure you are happy". Well at the time, it did feel like it fit and now, the ladies bunch in the front and I have to do it up on the last clasp to get any support. I'm sorry, but everyone knows that in a short amount of time, this will be stretched more and unwearable as I have a bigger bust size. If I knew exactly what worked, I would have just walked in, bought my size and left. But that is why I went to a specialty bra store and not Walmart. I can understand covid restrictions and I guess it is my fault for not seeing all the apparent signage but it would have been nice to still say something at checkout to double make sure. I have always been able to exchange a bra just bought from a specialty store. Anyways. I guess I'm glad these were on sale so I'm not out hundreds of dollars.

The minute I walked in I felt serene with the soothing music and quiet tone of the front entrance. I was escorted to a waiting area and given a hot towel. Not long after I was approached by Jade who took me into a lovely quiet room to start my treatments. I got my eyebrows waxed, a 30 min massage, a manicure and a pedicure all done by Jade. The experience was so amazing. I walked out feeling so relaxed. Jade was so lovely. She made me feel like I was in very good hands the whole time. Needless to say I brought my husband the pamphlet with a request to have this treatment again. It was not cheap but I was very grateful that I was able to have such a wonderful day. I would probably go back for one or two treatments as apposed to a number of treatments due to the cost. However, as a gift I highly recommend this!!!!
