Dr. Shark and Niko are an incredible team that truly saved my mother's life. She had been diagnosed…read morewith Graves disease (hyperthyroid) and the traditional doctors wanted to destroy her thyroid and put her on medication the rest of her life. This procedure has been linked to dementia onset and many more negative health consequences. We found Dr. Shark because our chiropractor recommended him for our own pain issues. (which Dr. Shark has helped with immensely also) When I first spoke to Dr. Shark about my mom's onset of health challenges he said get her off gluten right away. It was amazing, her tremors left within 36 hours. She had never had tremors before and they were constant and disruptive to her daily activity. The traditional Dr.'s (she had multiple specialists trying to diagnose her intially) had never even addressed diet. They just wanted to prescribe pharmaceutical and surgical procedure. My mom has been working with Dr. Shark and Niko for 5 mos. now and is back to her old self. She is following the diet and taking the specific custom herbs as prescribed by Dr. Shark and Niko. She is very attentative to her body and aware of any physical symptoms of the Graves disease. Graves is considered serious and should not be ignored. But, there are excellent methods of dealing with this auto-immune condition other than destroying the thyroid and attempting to replace the essesntial function of the thryroid with prescription drugs. She appears to be in full remission and is living a full and active life. My mom will celebrate her 80th birthday this August and I truly feel if it weren't for Dr. Shark and Niko she would not have survived to celebrate her birthday. Her condition had declined so rapidly at onset that I was preparing myself that my mother may be passing soon. I cannot express enough thanks to Dr. Shark and Niko. The care and compassion that was given to my mother was extraordinary. She continues to follow up with accupuncture treatments while usiing custom herbs and faithfully following a diet that nourishes her body while healing her immune system and other vital functions. Now after seeing the results of her progress her traditional doctors are supporting the protocol that Dr, Shark had given my mom. Her blood work shows the actual physical change and return to normal her body is experiencing.

My expectations were exceeded even further upon my first office visit. Dr.Shark takes amazing care to ensure no patients are together in the office space at one time, each individual confined to their own room. We wash our hands upon entry and get started immediately, Dr.Shark not only approaches his practice with a gentle care, he truly connects with you as a patient and does everything in his power to welcome you and help you feel most comfortable and at ease. As a first time acupuncture recipient I was nervous l, as I have heard stories about the practice not working for some, I AM BLOWN AWAY at how wonderful this treatment is. Not only do I no longer experience daily headaches, paired with my yoga practice, my neck and back are seeing significant signs of recovery. The visits usually last around 45-1hr and they are the most relaxing experiences of my week. Dr Bin gave me a natural recommendation to make a tea and to come back for a follow up in a couple of days if it appears today's treatment was beneficial. Dr is very thorough and kind.
