I called Home Health Care as soon as I got off the phone with my mother and they agreed to go to the market for my mother to get her groceries and deliver them. They did that within an hour of my call and request. For anyone with elderly parents who live alone, it's a very worrisome dynamic and especially if you do not live nearby. I had this agency come to my condo for almost a month before I went to First Choice Therapy on Harbor City BLVD. Long story short, this agency didn't do what they were supposed to do and I ended up with a frozen shoulder. I went through hell with First Choice as they tried to break up all the scar tissue, etc. to get my shoulder moving again. It was the worst pain ever. First Choice asked me, the first session, what this agency do to move my shoulder. My answer was nothing. They were absolutely horrified and I then knew I was in trouble. For 4 months, Mom., Wed. and Fri I endured the most awful pain I've ever experienced! First Choice did a wonderful job getting me straightened out, and I am now in a pretty good place. But I am SO incredibly upset with Home health of Florida that I could spit nails. Because of them, I suffered terribly. I could never recommend a shoulder replacement patient to use them. They may be good for some things, but in my case they made my life miserable!
