All physical therapy locations are not created equal. I am now more selective about where I choose…read morefor PT. I had the same complaint in 2025 that I have now and the last location I chose hardly did a thing. Hence, why I'm back again. Matching your therapy needs to a precise well schooled seasoned physical therapist for those needs is one of your crucial and critical choices. I live across the street from Southwest General. Hospital and I could walk there, but I chose to go all the way out to Hinckley and get my therapy with Dr. Trish Strazar. It has been my experience at two other locations that any old physical therapist will do and thats just not true because every time both of those places changed my therapist for one reason or another that replacement didnt have a clue where I was -where we left off -what I was being seen for and how far along my therapy was. For this current session of physical therapy, it is extremely important for me to stay with the location in Hinckley and with Dr. Trish because she knows me, she remembers from week to week or appointment or appointment where we left off, what I need to do and what she needs to change/add/remove. For me any old physical therapist will not do because they're not all, "all that". Staying with the same therapist from start to finish makes sense and healing works better that way. I'm very happy with the Hinckley operation the front desk, the staff on the phone, the treatment I get and especially and specifically with Dr. Trish Strazar. She is actually watching everything I do, listening to all my feedback, correcting things each week changing things every week and I've seen some improvement as of today which I did not see with the other location in 2025. All of your locations could learn from how the Hinckley Office of your hospital is doing things. They could be the training office for others, they are that good

She has continued to help us with so many different things, including the sale of my MIL's home (and removing ALL the things she had and setting up charities to receive the stuff) and finding an advocate for us in Michigan. She is hardworking, HONEST, helpful, caring, compassionate and just a wonderful person. I don't know how my husband found her, but I thank GOD that he did. When her work is finally done I will still be honored to be a friend to Kara because she has been more than a friend to our family. We can never thank her enough for everything she has done for us..

I have personally been here and seen what a wonderful job. This staff does at Sandy's adult care…read more She loves her people she does their hair their nails will sit with them for hours. What I love most about it is that the state comes once a year to make sure that she has everything in line, and if there's something wrong, she has to fix it

First off everyone needs to know THIS IS NOT AN ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY!!! This place is licensed…read moreONLY for Supportive living, and the difference being this facility is NOT regularly inspected. It is only inspected when they apply for the 2 yr license and it is announced!! Also the state does not survey residents about care. The first visit I had with my mother at Sandy's I cried and one of the staff laughed at me saying, "why are you crying." My mom said "I am the sensitive one, very caring and empathetic." It wasn't until the second visit that I became very concerned, I was asking a staff member about Sandy's past, and I was searching the night before on the internet trying to feel more comfortable with my mothers life in her hands. Well I turned around and Sandy is behind me with a snarled face saying, "I don't like you digging into my past, you don't need to see the state papers, I'm a member of St. Peters and I know your father, your just trying to move her out of here and I don't like it." And then the most troubling of things to say to anyone she snapped at me and said, "You better go sit with your mom, she's gonna go fast." Neither Sandy, nor the one staff member (ya, only 2 staff but she claims there's 3) have any compassion or care. I went there 6 or 7 times over the coarse of 3 months and was told at the door, "shes sleeping" all the times were different. There was a medication for my mom who had Alzheimer's that when she would start seeing things or get out of control (which she didn't do, if she was comfortable and in a calm environment) would sedate her and she would sleep for a day. My father visited my mom every other day and he said 3/4th of those times she didn't even know he was there and she didn't speak. Her progression with Alzheimer's was slow and it had only been 2 1/2 to 3 yrs, I just don't see how in 3 months she could go from knowing my name and being coherent to dead. The fact that she was always sleeping scares me to think they kept her doped up! Also in 4 months time my mother lost roughly 40 lbs, their was nothing but skin and bones in her casket! My mother was not sick or ill she was quite healthy, she should not be dead! The fact that Sandy lies and advertises as an Assisted Living Facility, has anything she told my family about her death discredited. And she charges ALF prices, my dad paid out of pocket $3500 a month!!!!! There was obvious neglect here, which troubles me to no end to think about. If you love the person who needs care, DO NOT SEND THEM HERE!!! Also this place is called "Adult Care by Sandy II" , she had another house but it was shut down reasons unknown at this time, but I will find out!
