The Find has a nice selection of baby and children's clothes. There are buckets of Jellycat stuff toys and lots of books and toys. The Find doesn't just cater to children; this place has something for everyone. There is usually a nice candles, jewelry, women's clothes, and mugs. I also like their selection of notebooks and pens. They have also had some really cute and functional face masks here during the height of the pandemic. I purchased a couple COIN 1804 masks from them and those turned out to be my favorite ones. The Find also stocks some Fort Wayne themed items like magnets that say "Fort Wayne: It's not that bad," and postcards with drawings of downtown. Regardless of the reason I visit The Find, I usually also end up purchasing greeting cards here too. They have some cute ones for every occasion.

These cards were sold in a neat boutique store near where I used to live, and I stock up on them whenever I find them. Perfect for all occasions. The Orange Tree also sells perfect gift items - including ND items that are made right from parts of the stadium. My brother-in-law is a semi-professional tennis player, and I found a bottle opener, made from the grip of a genuine wooden tennis racquet. It was the perfect gift for him, and I was delighted to see him excited to see him trying to match the grip of the former owner as he inspected his new functional keepsake. I have three kids and really love your store. I recently received a text advertising 70% off back…read moreto school apparel for the specific dates of August 1st - 4th. We made sure to arrive early afternoon August 1st, for the big 70% off sale... only to realize there wasn't one. That claim is the most miss-leading advertisement I have ever received. I felt like it was a total bait and switch tactic and I didn't appreciate it. Because of this "sale" I pulled both of my daughters out of their day camp to get best pickings. It is most irritating because I have to pay for a missed day of camp that they deserved but now missed. They should really be ashamed of this type of advertising. The response I received: I appreciate your concern but unfortunately you can only text so many words. We are a resale shop and provide great value up to 70% off or greater regular retail prices everyday. At least we don't advertise like Big retailers and jack prices up to then discount to regular everyday retail for their sale events. Sorry for your misunderstanding.

Downtown Huntington…read more I've lived in SW Florida for ten years now, and a lot of places in between, but I grew up in Huntington County. My family makes a habit of visiting the downtown area when I'm home for a visit. We visited Bend The Trend on a whim (after eating at Nick's Kitchen). The other members of our party had stopped inside before but this was my first visit. I was excited and surprised to find so many unique items that piqued my interest. My husband and I are going to be first time grandparents, so many of them were related to kids. They have some gorgeous wood banks in many different shapes and designs (piggy, turtle, owl, etc.) Since the gender of our grandchild will remain a mystery to us until their birth, I decided to hold off on some of the things that might be influenced by decisions made after we know. But I'm definitely keeping those banks in mind. At the point of our visit, I had already wrapped and prepared gifts for our daughter's baby shower. However, I couldn't resist an adorable snuggle (new to me - kind of like a soft cuddly blanket but in the shape of an animal but not stuffed). Super soft and irresistible because they had a sloth (and that's a whole other family story). No sooner had I brought it to the counter, my mom and sister were saying I had to see some of the newborn outfits. Of course, I found one I couldn't resist, made of the softest fabric and with "for I am fearfully and wonderfully made" stitched across the front. Such a fun stop and I didn't even mind I had to go find some more wrapping materials. Don't get the wrong idea, they have many other items. Things you won't find in every other shop. I was tempted by a blouse and they had a nice selection of jewelry. And on another visit, after I don't have the new grandbaby on my mind (who am I kidding?) I'll take a better look at everything else they have. In theory at least - definitely looking for those banks again.
