Before I begin, I'd like to thank Moshe for all of the time, effort, graciousness and true…read morededication he had for my daughter. My daughter had big dreams about attending a service academy (either the United States Air Force Academy or the United States Naval Academy). With that said, the requirements for acceptance into those academies is daunting. One of the weak points identified in my daughter was her ACT score. Even with dedicated studying and taking the test already 7 times, she could barely scoot her score up to even be considered competitive. We decided to do some research to find her help. Through a recommendation by a friend, we found Equitas Prep. My friend said her ACT score started at a 22 and after working with Moshe, was able to ultimately get a 31 after repeating the test twice. My friend was an intelligent girl, but just couldn't handle the nervousness on test day--that was my daughter. With one-on-one weekly meetings with Moshe, my daughter learned skills that not only helped her increase her score 8 points, but taught her strategies she could use on ANY tests! Her confidence grew and her testing abilities sharpened. In the end, she got early admission into BOTH the United States Naval Academy AND the Air Force Academy! On top of that, she got full ride scholarships to University of Colorado, Boulder as well as University of San Diego. We are so proud of her and give a lot of credit to Moshe and his team for fitting her into their busy schedules and truly getting to the root of her testing issues and working them out beautifully for her! THANK YOU, Equitas Prep, for making such a bright future for my daughter! The time and money investment truly paid off for my daughter!

I have to eat a little crow. This outfit calling itself the Kentucky School of Metaphysics is completely different from the school run by Stanley Stratford and Carolyn Renfro. For the record, Stanley and Carolyn were first, operating in Frankfort. I stand by everything I wrote about the actual Kentucky School of Metaphysics, including their at least 5 star rating. But when I called this one to speak to Carolyn the woman who answered had no idea whom I meant. So I have no basis to critique it other than this operation's shoddy practice of using another concern's name, nor any basis to comment on John nor Janie's experience. Sorry for any confusion.

I love that they can take what they've learned in class and apply it practically to their school work, science fair projects, and the like. This isn't your run of the mill math tutoring center that teaches your child how to be a $2 calculator - the kids actually understand the theories behind what they are doing, so it's beyond rote memorization. My kids have all gone on to be top math students in their grades in school, winning several awards, and scoring perfect or near perfect scores on tests including the SAT, ACT, and SAT II Subject tests.

Aside from the actual mathematics, RSM teaches a school of thought that isn't displayed in the regular classroom. They instill the methodology of thinking rather than memorizing and this has shown great results in my classes and math competitions. Without the weekly meetings, my intellectual and mathematical abilities would be no where near as gifted and refined. I think that RSM is the absolute, only route that should be taken when deciding on a tutoring/extracurricular academics and I strongly recommend this to everyone.
