Im a coffee person . Not just Starbucks, I drink coffee. A lot of shops have the same thing so it's important to have a good place to sit and relax/unwind and think. Not only is there coffee good , they have stuff for kids and snacks as well as books for reading and a good place to sit and chat. Coffee is good for the the small town and there isn't good coffee but Starbucks in Altus so coming here is a nice change. My only issue here is that they let other customers or homeless people harass you in the store. I'm all for letting the homeless in and have a comfortable place to sit but when they are following you around asking for cigarettes and then cussing you out and the workers just watch and go back to what they are doing it's weird. So we got our stuff and left. Drove 45 mins to get coffee get harassed and left. Odd. read more

Viridian Coffee on 2nd Ave in Lawton is a 12-star stronghold in a sea of weak sludge. Last Wednesday, I rolled up in my SUV--freezing as hell, errands stacked, no chance to ride the Roadmaster--and strode in, black leather Indian biker jacket on, hunting a brew that fits my taste, no compromise. Josh1, the assistant manager, clocked the jacket right off--'Sweet Indian gear,' he said, sparking a convo about loving Indian bikes. Guy owned it--grinned fierce, met my stare, and tore into coffee profiles like a man possessed. He dumped more info than I could process, but carved it so slick I claimed it fast. No follower here; I set my path and charged. Last Thursday, I hit their Cache Rd spot after gagging on a burnt, acidic mess from a corporate chain down the street--pure trash. Matthew (now a minister--respect) didn't flinch--snatched that garbage and swapped it for a fresh Remedy, no cost. Smoother than a throttle twist--those other chain stores can't hang. Two days ago--Wednesday again--I roared back to 2nd Ave on my Roadmaster with a bag of mediocre beans I'd been stuck with. They ground it while I slammed a Remedy cappuccino. Tried a shot of Cowboy Blend, and it hit like a fist--sold, no question. I wish I could remember the name of the barista that helped me! What an asset for the company!! This morning, Friday, with the temp in the 70-degree range--perfect riding weather--I brewed a cup from those grounds at home, took one sip, and dumped it--utter junk. Rode the rest to 2nd Ave, and they took over--tossed that crap, hooked me up with a bag of Cowboy Blend. Ordered a Cowboy cappuccino, and Josh1 passed me to Josh2, a barista who doesn't break. Guy fought through three or four pulls--grinder wouldn't go fine enough, no dice. Unshaken, Josh2 swapped Remedy for Cowboy in the espresso rig and forged the best cappuccino I've ever had--bold as steel, smooth as a blade. That's not service; that's conquest. Both Joshes love Indian bikes--don't ride 'em like I do, but they get the iron. Josh1 stepped out into that 70-degree breeze to greet me this morning, eyeing my Roadmaster with a nod and swapping bike talk for a couple of minutes. Two rugged cats who respect the game, syncing with my edge. The crew? All titans--friendly, relentless. Don't know their names, but I'd call each one out if I did--they've earned it. Cache or 2nd Ave, Viridian's my turf now--they don't just brew coffee; they forge respect. The SUV and Roadmaster--they're the backbone--last week's cold forced the cage, but today's ride roared my truth, tying my steel soul to their grit. This is not your regular cup of Joe, this coffee house is serving up a very wide variety of flavor filled perfectly brewed Coffee delights. You want Hot they got you covered! You want Cold they got you covered! You want Bold they got you covered! You want Sweet and Salty they got you covered, if you can think of a flavor they got you covered! The " normal" house brew is beyond amazing and definitely not normal, bursting with flavors, it is apparent someone has gone to great lengths to find the best beans, have them perfectly roasted and the Good Lord above has blessed this place with amazing staff and wonderful atmosphere! I'm a huge coffee drinker so when I was in town in Lawton, I immediately went to Viridian Coffee. The coffee here is superb and the taste was outstanding. I got two drinks from here: 1. Oat milk latte 2. Chai tea latte Both of the drinks were great tasting. I honestly came here every single day I was in town. There's plenty of free parking and the interior was really spacious and clean. It's a really good environment to study, to chill, or to catch up with friends. One thing I really like is how they get your name. They'd be like "Hi, my name is Daniel, what's yours?" Clever! I highly, highly suggest coming here to get your coffee fix! read more

Love going to Viridian as they have my favorite coffee! This location however sucks! The last 3, THREE purchases they have been wrong. Finally I went in today instead of using the drive through to address my issues. They said that they were out of things. So I ordered my coffee and it's even worse than the previous 3!!! If they run out of things it should be discussed before purchase to see if you would like to change your order! They acted like they didn't even care! Which really made me upset. I got here easily the best chocolate chip cookie I've tried in the US. Yes, coffee is spectacular, but I need to appreciate the chocolate chip cookie for a little bit more. First, the flavor; perfect dark and milk chocolate balanced. Cake textured and big enough to share. Get the cookie warmed, if not, forget everything I said. The coffee. I've heard many great things about this place since I knew I will be in Oklahoma for a few days. I'm not a strong coffee drinker anymore, but definitely enjoyed the cinnamon latte they prepared for me! I visited the place and worked a little bit from there, and for sure enjoyed it! It's beautifully decorated and very friendly attended. Everyone working there was so nice, smiling at all times. Avery took my order and explained me tons of things about the coffee shop. Great menu with all of your typical coffee and latte choices. I had a lovely Americano with half n half that they warmed up and put into it. Wonderful vibe with lots of seating. The baristas were kind! They have a drive thru or you can go in. They get busy in the mornings so give yourself 10-15 min to get your coffee after 7 am or so. read more

My family and I decided to stop by here earlier this morning to see just how good the coffee was. We pulled up to the drive through and asked if they had any good suggestions. They recommended a few items that all sounded great for the price. We went with a hazelnut cold brew latte, a blueberry muffin and their version of a "pup cup". We were met by David at the window who was very kind and complimented our dog and my wife's glasses. $9 for everything. I stopped by to grab a coffee on my way to a funeral in town. I cannot remember the last time I went to Lawton and I was glad I was able to find something that wasn't a Starbucks or a 7 Eleven. You cannot miss it, it's in a shopping center right as you get off the turnpike and hit the city limit. They have a drive-thru but I opted to go inside. It's a pretty big space with lots of tables and a few side chairs for sitting. The menu is pretty typical with lattes, americanos, red eyes etc. The staff was pretty friendly and helpful with suggestions. I was so tired from the drive. I just opted for a drip coffee since I didn't want to deal with a sugar crash later. They had three roasts going at once, a light roast, a medium roast and a dark roast which was awesome because I'm a medium roast girl and it's hard to find that sometimes since people either love light or dark. The coffee was really hot so I had to let it cool for a while but once it did, the flavor was good. read more

When they asked if I would wait 4 minutes for the Chai to steep when I ordered my almond milk dirty Chai, I had high hopes. But nothing could prepare me for the absolute deliciousness that I was about to partake of. This was hands down, by far, bar none the absolute best dirty Chai I have ever had. I also had a Caramel apple scone that was warm, buttery and incredibly delicious. The coffee shop itself was large, spacious, open and very clean. This was a really good cup of coffee, I can taste the roasted beans. I ordered a small hot Caramel latte. This was really good, the only complaint was that I didn't taste the caramel as much. I ended up added a little sugar. The inside was very peaceful and relaxing with the primary color of black. The barista who took my order was very patient, as I wasn't sure what I wanted. The inside was not nearly as long as the drive thru. But the amount of cars is understood once you taste still coffee shop. I would say I will be back but I was just visiting Oklahoma. Viridian coffee is the quintessential coffeehouse experience! If the only thing they sold was their deliciously AND LOCALLY ROASTED coffee, they would still receive 5 stars! Luckily that is not all they serve! I recently started a new job and wanted to treat my co-workers. Sharing some delicious Viridian pastries seemed to be a logical choice. I opted for the moist and delectable Caramel Apple Scone and the never let me down Banana bread! Both were a huge hit! Not only were the pastries amazing, but going in the morning to get them was a great experience! We were overcharged significantly on our order. Ordered two power bowls and basic coffees and somehow was charged 45 dollars. Left a $5 tip as despite my displeasure I can't not tip the workers something. Power bowl was $10 for microwaved frozen chicken that was tough and still cold inside. They messed up one of the coffee orders and gave me a mean look when I politely asked them to remake it. Their coffee is normally great, but skip on the food at all costs. read more

Rosalinda is the best Barista ever! She managed to make me feel important, even while asking me to wait. Coffee was excellent, free sample assisted me in making a selection which suited me to a "T".
