I specialize in Restorative Therapy. We are our best selves when our bodies are balanced and my speciality is helping you to balance your nervous system. My job is to connect with you through touch and presence, listening deeply to your system, providing a place of safety. In the listening, the body and soul can be seen and heard. We will co-create through a session. I help find where the body is holding tension, where there is damage to tissue, where stagnant energy may be blocking healthy living. We then work together to relieve the tension, move the energy, allow the natural healing ability of the body to manifest. It is a beautiful experience of bringing the unseen to the seen, and that is where the magic begins. We begin by focusing on the limitations of the body and expand to bringing in the possibilities in the power of the spirit and the soul.

History

Established in 2019.

Originally, I practiced as a Physical Therapist specializing in Chronic Pain in Utah. I then worked in Sheridan with Wyoming Rehab and then Big Horn Neurology, treating patients with a multitude of symptoms. I advanced my skills and training into more integrative healing modalities including CranioSacral Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Hypnotherapy, Energy Medicine, Kundalini Yoga and Meditation. I opened my own private practice in Sheridan, Wyoming in 2019 and had a successful business there, even through the CoVid years. I have now relocated to Cody, Wyoming and look forward to being of service to the community.

Meet the Business Owner: Virginia S.

Virginia Karuna Starr grew up on a farm in Nebraska and received her Master's Degree in Education and her other Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska. She was also a volleyball player for the Huskers from 1985-1989. Virginia's greatest blessing has been that of having four beautiful daughters. Virginia has specialized in chronic pain and furthered her education to help better serve this population. She is certified in Craniosacral Therapy, Somatic Experiencing and Hypnotherapy. She also practices Energy Medicine and has studied with the Four Winds Society. She has been ordained as a Spiritual Caregiver and is a Sufi Healing Cherag.
