I have no idea whether or not I could save $200/year by switching to GEICO, I've never checked. Here's why I don't bother checking: 1) When I call, the phone is answered by a real live friendly person, often Ric himself. Sometimes Helena, whom I've never met but can only assume from her name that she looks like a Greek goddess. 2) I can ask things like "I just bumped someone in a parking lot and the person is amenable to us just paying for repairs -- would it be cheaper for us to just pay them, or should we tell them to file a claim?" and not feel like I'm risking having the hammer dropped just by making the call.

He answered all my questions, calmed my fears, arranged for the repairs to be done close to my house, and handled the entire claim process. What a relief and I'm thrilled to have Ric in my corner!! I highly recommend Ric Bergstrom!!

Can you love a bank? Well, I've really got to these folks credit! I had a deposit to make for a…read morenew account and went to literally 5 other banks and all of them required an appointment to make that deposit, which I find ludicrous. I mean, I'm trying to give you my money. I understand covid, but several bank lobbies are open but they won't open an account without an appointment. Very inconvenient, despite the pandemic because it should only take a couple minutes. The only reason I hesitated to deposit here, was because they don't have many locations. We have other accounts here and have always been satisfied. So when I called with my dilemma, they were like, "Come right in." Nelly helped me and opened my account in less than 5 minutes and you receive your debit card on the spot! She was accommodating and cordial and also helped me with another transaction. I told the manager, Barbara my experience and was determined to give them a rave review for taking care of this. You would think the other banks would be vying for business! Thank you, Navy Federal, now I don't have to put my cash in my mattress! I salute you for making bank easy! Please return the coin machine soon! It was awesome and made so much cents!!!

Title: Persistent issues with account access and communication…read more I am writing to share my ongoing frustration regarding the level of service at VPFCU for the past 11 days, I have been unable to access my funds due to persistent issues with card delivery and a lack of clear communication from management. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this issue, I have been provided with conflicting information and missed deadlines regarding the arrival of a replacement card. Most recently, I was promised a tracking number by a specific date and time via the supervisor Angela, which was not provided. This lack of transparency has made it impossible to manage my personal finances. I have already escalated this matter to the NCUA and the CFPB because the internal resolution process at the branch level has proven ineffective. I am sharing this experience so other members are aware of these significant service and communication failures. I hope that by documenting this publicly, the credit union will finally prioritize resolving this issue.
