Three months now, I've been using Virgin Broadband. There were the initial headaches and problems with getting it set up and including the router that was dead on arrival, but since then the service has been good.
I don't have a television (Brits have to pay a TV license!) so my digital entertainment is completely over the Internet. I was able to find a website that was broadcasting the Olympic hockey gold medal game, I've watched several movies through my membership in LoveFilm (similar to Netflix) and of course the usual Internet surfing. My job also takes place extensively over the Internet through emails and many voice conference calls, so I've been able to fully vet the service: the throughput is very good.
